Resetting ECU

In the next few weeks i'll be putting my exhaust and intakes on my car, and for those of you who have performance mods, did you reset your ECU, or just let the car gradually learn to adapt? Any input is appreciated.

When I installed the intake I disconnected the negative side of the battery as
per the instructions for an hour. I did the same thing when I installed my
spacer. If you need to reset the ECU do a SEARCH, this has been discussed
several times....not as many as debadging but quite a few....

I already know how to reset the ecu. I've searched it before. I read a post once and some guy said that you should reset it after every (performance)mod, and there are some that don't. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on it, or how they went about it after a mod.

ya u should def. do it
let the car adapt to the new parts right off the bat instead of learning over something it already learned.
