another ECU upgrade option

find this on the internet and download pdf instructions:
http://www.bullydog.com/product/inde...uct_detail/185

It says that it can remove speed limiter and raise rpm to 8k.
Try to reach them by email, but no responses.

price is $373.00

Interesting find Kendroz. Might be good for those not doing anything too extreme too there car. Found some reviews for the product but different engines including some Titan owners. Looks like it does what it is supposed to. The PC interface to download the programs seems to be a very weak link though. Lots of the reviews are for diesel engines which have much more room for tuning than our engines though so need to keep that in mind when we read the reviews. May be able to get rid of the the throttle plate limit at low rpm if the specs are correct.

someone email em and make sure that the vq35hr is supported. you know we run into that problem of a vendor thinking the vq35de is in ALL 3.5 liters.

we should all pitch in and buy one and share it,

it doesn't lock to one car after the deed is done.

ya it does..they also say 2009 v6 3.5 g35 i didnt know infiniti made g35's in 2009.
my point is just something about when a company just throws on some random information to make their product look good without taking time to separate what it is really used for.
im definitely all for it and want to purchase this but im sure as hell going to wait until they post some real time information for the 07-08 g35. just like ivory said just that its a nissan v6 that doesn't mean its the same thing. from altima to maxima sure and older infiniti not the HR or the 3.7L.

Well I just wrote them an email but not sure if I will have better luck getting a response.

One thing I did notice is that if you go through the Nissan 350Z engine selection , they do change the motor description from the "3.5L V6" in '05-'06 to "3.5L HR V6" in '07-'09. This means that they know about the engine change on the 350Z and the same unit is recommended. They list all G35 as "3.5L HR V6" but seems reasonable that since the unit is fit for the DE and the HR in the 350Z that it would also be OK on the HR on the G35.

I think that they have some typos but I also think that there is a very good chance that it is compatible with our HR engines regardless of the typo.

Will post if I hear somethign back but don't hold your breath.

Their software update log also leads me to believe that they have the HR version of the VQ covered.
