like i said, for the money, you can't go wrong. It's not like an air intake where you rip apart your OEM system just to install the aftermarket one... it's an easily do-able and un-doable and (sell-able) mod...

cheers to those who have seen improvements

Umm how is an intake system not easily do-able and un-doable. The instake system has the added benefit of proven gains (albeit minimal) and at least a definitive, objective sound change that some may like.

I give you credit for admitting they look good. Just know that's what you REALLY paid for, that and some feel-good saratonan for your head.

For what it's worth... here was the review I posted

Further into the thread, I also commented:

I'm not OVERLY impressed, but there definitely is some improvements there. I'm not unhappy with them.

I also just want to add... I'm only speaking for myself and don't know what others are expecting from this, but I never went into this looking for gains.
It offered (besides the benefit of better grounding) a bit more power to the stereo, console lighting, throttle response and in the AT, a bit quicker shifting.
I'm not sure this is something that a dyno would pick up.

Anyone expecting to turn their G into a powerhouse with a few cables.. look elsewhere (just like I said in my review)

Brain, lighten up. Wow you really have something against these kits. Unless your paying for them for all of us why get all worked up over where someone else spends there cash.

How many people really dyno the other options they add to their cars? Not many they take others opinions on these boards, make the "upgrade" and hope for a perceived improvement.

Unless you race your car the chip upgrade for top speed caps how many sane people really test that?

I know what I feel in my car and I feel it to be a throttle improvement an shifting improvement. Just like I can't prove it to you. You can't prove me and my car wrong.

I understand your trying to save others cash but to each his own.

500 years ago people thought the world was flat, I'm sure sometime in the future, grounding kits will be thought of as the same myth.

Even today there are skeptics who think the world is flat and have their flat earth association. Maybe you guys can start a Ground Wires Really Work Association and substantiate your existence with zero factual basis.

DISCLAIMER: This is all fun for me, nothing is meant to be personal and I'm not name calling, just stating my opinion from reading at least 100 of these grounding wire threads from various sources. Like I mentioned earlier, I have no basis to prove they don't work other than that no one can prove they do work (isn't that a paradigm). The main reasons I'm skeptical is that no one has been able to show any facts, and 2, this just seems like something car manufacturers who invest hundreds of millions of dollars in R&D wouldn't overlook since there are absolutely ZERO downsides to grounding. All other mods have many downsides (emissions, noise, smoothness, comfort, reliability, cost, etc.), grounding wires are different than that.

No hard feelings, I'm just trying to make everyone really think about it...

umm, because you're the greatest DIYer on this board and that comment doesn't apply to you.

What if any mods have you done? I like this one because it easy to try, not a killer on the wallet, and easy to remove for my extended warranty.

Right now I got HKS hybrid filters and muffler delete. I leased this car and it's really not the best platform for modding. However, my modification past is extensive.

I had an 04 G35 with quite a bit of work done, a build NA GSR, 300ZX Twin Turbo Stage2/3, and a 97 Maxima that I had just about everything on.

Unfortunately, I've spent well over $50k on car modifications alone in the past 10 years (and 80% of that spent in 1999-2002). I've had my fair share of fools gold mods as well as worthwhile ones. I've done FI on NA cars, first to import specific parts from Japan, test muled my car for different parts, etc.

I've been around, and I've sort of fallen out of being interested in modding cars much, especially permanent mods or mods with low value return.

When my lease is up I plan on getting a 2007-2008 Audi RS4 or BMW M5. I'm just not much into modding anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't follow it nor does it mean I don't have personal experiences (good and bad).
