Yup and it's exactly like this one, proponents and opponents and no facts either way.

It would be easy to clear this up once and for all.

All you need for the test is the car, an accelerometer, and data acquisition unit.

Take 10 runs of the car (say 1/4 mile on the track) with grounding kit installed.
Take 10 runs of the car (same 1/4 mile) with grounding kit uninstalled.

Compare the data. Or BETTER YET, have someone compare the data blindly with no knowledge of what is being tested or anything . . . like a double blind test.

If the shifting or throttle response is that much different that a driver can feel it, the accelerometer should easily be able to show a difference at each shift.

This way you can objectively measure each shift, and so forth . . .

I have the equipment to do this, so if someone wants to volunteer for the test here in NJ, i'll be happy to lend my equipment.

A simple fact is that changing the grounding contacts will not change the logic of the trans control unit, IE the shifting. any body who thinks has no idea what the h*ll they are talking about

My car certainly shifts faster. I didn't notice any other changes.

I guess I don't know what the hell I am talking about. Wait...I don't and I don't care one bit. I didn't like the shift lag, saw a low price, low risk solution and tried it. Shift lag all but gone.

Well worth it.

^ I agree 100%. Shift lag is all but eliminated... especially on downshifts.

Did you ever end up driving one with the kit installed (last time you said you would try to find one)?
