Here is the thread for a ton of reviews of my custom kit as posted by actual users.

https://g35driver.com/forums/reviews...es-review.html

I have not done one on a 2nd gen sedan but I will develop one if someone wants to loan me their car for an afternoon.

No doubt. I think I've spent that much on the booze while getting a private dance.

Hey Sean... I've already got the BB kit on my car, but I'd be happy to come hang out for the day and let you use my car to develop a new kit.

Love the attention this thread got, what a 'THINK-TANK' we got here.
...I should post up my stock portfolio and see what everyone thinks probably make me more money.hahaha

i dunno guys, i heard too many good things to ignore this. I'll probably bite the bullet and then I'll really know for sure. I've been and am still on numerous forums and I see the the 'grounding wires' issue come up a lot but i never tried them. Since I always drove stick previous to this car, i never bothered, due to the positive claims coming from auto tranny guys.

guess we'll see.

Very cool... Definitely let us know what you think once you've got them installed. I doubt you'll be disappointed if you have a 5AT.

Waiting for it to quit blowing sand like the Mojave dessert (had winds gusting to 52 mph yesterday and today), now it's sposed to rain this weekend (we'll take it, we have had 0.00" of rain since Jan 1), so I don't know when I will get to use it.....

Wow! That sucks... keep it out of the wind, man! Last time I drove to Vegas through the Mojave, conincidentally enough, the wins were blowing 60 - 70 MPH and my car literally got sand blasted... I was so sadbecause it only had 1K miles on it and I hadn't had a chance to get my clear bra done yet. Suffice it to say, I had lots of chips to touch up before I went to get my clear bra done... that wind can be very nasty, especially when you live in a dirty dusty desert like climate like CA or TX.

LMFAO... I thought it was a little off topic, but oh well... I responded anyway... So, what's worse, posting in the wrong section or actually responding to a post in the wrong section?!? LOL

Just out of curiosity, what are the grounding points for the Stillen? This could depend on whether they make a difference or not... Also, since your a 6MT, I wouldn't expect you to see any difference, since the major difference seems to be in the shift speed of the auto tranny.

for what it costs, can't go wrong -- worse case you put it up for sale.

Had one installed, can't say I noticed any difference. Removed it when we did the wire tuck, no difference in performance.

grounding kits on newer cars provide pretty much nil performance gains as the factory grounds are more than sufficient. as the vehicle ages, however, corrosion starts to play a role. when this happens, that's when you start to see the benefits of these kits. so, not all is lost for you buyers, it's just...no point in installing the kits right now, no matter how much your butt-dyno tells you otherwise.

why not just clean the existing grounding points?
i tried a grounding kit on a previous maxima and the only thing it did was take up room under the hood, so i won't bother with the g. i'm better off exercising and dropping 10lbs.
