Im not sure if this has been answered already in this tread, but I dont recall seeing anything in particular in regards to power gains associated with this mod. Can anyone shed light on this? Or is that not the point of this mod?

I understand nobody has done a dyno yet with the bullydog unit? anyone planning to do so?

That's the main point, a lot of us are waiting for someone to actually dyno test the car before and after to see what figures it really produces. So far all we've got to go on is other people's perceived power increases which isn't good enough for me, I'm waiting for a dyno (hopefully someone will do this soon)

Wes, BullyDog claims gains in the mid 20s for hp and low 20s in torque.
We just need someone with a dyno to prove/disprove it.

I personally only have access to a butt dyno, so I plan on using that.

wait wait wait, by Butt Dyno you mean guesstimating roughly how much HP you're getting? No real factual data being read from the car correct?

I'm on the phone with them right now... estimated wait time, 3 minutes.
*Edit*
I just got off the phone with them. They are sending me 1.2.2c and I was asked to use this version. If I receive an error, I'm to call them back. He was not aware of any known update scheduled for release today or tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted once I get this installed tonight.

Unfortunately, that's correct.
I don't have a decent tuner near me, which is why I'm not taking the Cobb route.
I'll attend a dyno day someday, but until one takes place near me, I'm stuck using my butt dyno for now.
I'm hoping to at least feel a slight difference in performance, but I'm also going to be closely monitoring my gas comsumption as well.
I'm well aware of the fact that butt dynos are BS and I did mean my comment to be tongue in cheek. Either way, I will post my findings and personal opinions.

It's okay though... My a$$ was recently calibrated to be dead-nut accurate by the department of weights and measures.

Sent.

They said that web based email accounts like hotmail, yahoo and Gmail are a PITA for them.
I forwarded it to you, but you may need to check your spam list to find it.

Quote: where do you see what version you have? Mine just came today and all i have done so far is install the agent update on my computer. I havent plugged into vehicle yet. Its raining, so I will have to do that tomorrow.
Once you run the update agent to upload the most current tune to your BullyDog, the GUI shows the version that was successfully loaded in.
The version I just emailed to you is 1.2.2c
The version currently available for download from their site is still 1.2.1
