I'll check mine out once I finally get my working update.

I know that my dealer offers an advance (+2*) but I'm not sure what the benefit of -2* is.

How about some 1/4 mile runs from some of the people who have this installed? Even if you don't pull a good e.t. we can still figure out if this thing is really making power or not by comparing other times on here and seeing what MPH you get at the top end. Just a suggestion.

I don't know the whole theory for the -2* timing yet. Still researching.
If I remember correctly the setting for timing was at 0 after setting the tuning as premium. I manually adjusted the timing to +2

why yours was at -2

I don't know why it is set for -2*. I am not going to change anything until I speak to the Engineer who thinks this setting is proper for this tune. I have been reading up on the theory of proper tuning and the adverse effects. I have not witnessed any predetination or pinging sounds while I am at idle or while I am driving at higher speeds. Even when I rev the engine, I don't hear or feel any unusual sounds coming from the motor. This tune is definitely an improvement as for acceleration and response. I have logged 52K miles prior to making these changes to my car and I think I know what it feels like after doing these mods. I also found a dyno shop in oldbridge, N.J. I will be setting up an future appointment to get the gains from these mods.

hey guys, could any1 who s got the power pup help me?

i have received my p.p. a few days ago and decided to install it today and now i have a prob installin it. (cz of the time difference its hard to fit in the time-frame when the tech support of the bullydog is online)

it might seem noob)) but when i install the update agent and it says plug your p.p in , I do that but then there is no action. I think normally, right after the installaion of the AGENT and when you plug the p.p inside , the software has to start upgrading automatically? but nothing happens ... i have tried a few computers just in case, but have the same effect. So maybe i miss some step? thanks a lot

i am currently installing this as we speak using 1.2.2c. It got me all the way to the 4th to last step where after going through all the settings, processing calibration and building file, Im now on "downloading." Its been saying Downloading....0% for 30min now. Does this mean, 1.2.2c isnt going to work, or does it normally take this long?

Let me know

UPDATE: I pulled the plug and downloaded version 1.2.2d. Tried installing it again and...SUCCESS!!!! Im going out for a joy ride in a little bit. As of right now all the settings are for PREMIUM and STOCK (stock timing, idle, rev limiter, speed limiter).

well yeah, I mean I can access the site and use paypal to pay for things or transfer money. BUT it is registered under my UK account and address, that's why it allows me. I think you can do the same but you'll need an account and address that is either in Europe or the states. (I'm not too sure which counties) but the UK works.

Half the time though when I pay for something through paypal they deliver the goods to my UK address as apposed to my delivery address (which is in KSA) but some companies don't mind sending it to a different address to the billing address.

Does that make sense?
