I got it from the tech right around last time i posted. thanks anyway though! He said (Gary 87607) that another update would be available through the actual update tool sometime next week. (tues or wed) so keep your fingers crossed!!

You may want to try and start an online chat and ask for Gary. (make sure you put the number in there too) he was pretty helpful. tell him your pn and see what kind of answer you get.

So no one has dyno'd this thing yet and everyone's buying it based on word of mouth and butt dyno results?

Isn't that how Fujita started out?

Doesn't someone have to be first?
Let us get the thing installed and we'll post results.

I've been hearing about this for the past couple of months now with quite a few buyers. I was just expecting one of those first owners to have dyno'd it before everyone started getting in on this.

I'm very, very skeptical of these products doing much for the cars when they are sold to so many different brands/vehicles and seemingly sent out so quickly.

I'd much rather stick to a reputable provider who takes the time to actually tune maps and advertise different maps for specific and common mods, as well as providing dyno results of their product on the specific vehicle its sold for as Cobb does.

I understand what you are saying and honestly, I totally agree with you. I did some asking around and it turns out BullyDog has a VERY good reputation in other applications, like full size trucks. They are great at squeezing out more power while gaining a few MPG at the same time. I hope to see similar results with this. Absolute worse case scenario, I'm not happy and I sell it on eBay.

I don't have a dyno near me, but the locals guys do dyno-day meets once in a while. The next time one takes place, I'll be there. I don't mind driving 100+ miles if there's a meet at the other end of it.

In the meantime, I'm stuck using my butt dyno and watching for MPG results as well. I'm also hoping someone besides me makes it to a dyno. Seeing results from several people is better than seeing it from one person alone.

I installed the 1.2.2d Version and everything worked. Haven't had the chance to play due to the weather. I have to find a shop with a dyno. I can definitely feel a difference. The settings for the timing was retarded -2* and the speed limiter is set @ 163. the rev limit was at 7650 and now it is set @ 7750. The idle is set for 725 rpms. Oh! the tuning is set for premium. I don't know the whole theory for the -2* timing yet. Still researching.

Don't we want +2* on the timing?

Yep

I just installed mine last night. it is a bit more responsive on the low end and i even feel like the shifts are abit quicker as well.

From a stop if feels much stronger, and when i get on it from 35 on it really gets moving. (may be attributed to the quicker downshifts)

I am very interested to see what kind of gas mileage improvements i get with this. if i get just a 2MPG increase it will be worth it over the life of the car.

For the 320 bucks i paid for it and the amount of skill and time it took to install it i would say it was worth it.

Butt dyno shows increases

I am wondering if the Maps are different with the Timing feature with the three selection of tunes. Stock tune = ?*, Regular Tune = ?*, or Premium Tune = -2*. Does anyone know the other two timing settings for the other tunes available?
