In an earlier post you said it came with hoses? Are these too short? Would I still need to pick up some flex hose from an auto parts store?

they arent flexible enough but they might work. i also had to cut those down as well as the oem Y tubing to make things fit.

So, in general if one was to buy an intake system which would be the better option for a sedan. Takeda? R2C? Injen?

I'm a little biased towards the Takeda, simply because it's a lot cheaper than the others. It also sounds awesome and I have had great success with my previous afe intakes. I can say it's better than the k&n but I've never owned the injen or r2c. I'm sure the people who own the injen and r2c could give input on their intakes.

No problems here as well. Also my friends are still shocked every time they get in my car as to how great it sounds. I love it.

Honda Accord
Takeda is a great budget option for sure and like Jack said, it looks great as well. I've had Injen CAI and currently running JWT, but I am not impressed with the JWT at all. Sure they sound great, but I'd still prefer the ease of cleaning the dry filters anytime, anyday. There ate currently 3 different intakes that provide dry filter applications: Takeda, Injen SRI, and R2C. IMO, they are about the same in terms of performance (You won't get much outta intakes for these motors anyway), but I'd go with either Injen or Takeda mainly because their prices are very competitive and affordable.

As for me, I'd still like to go back to Injen CAI especially because they offer the newer batches with dry Amsoil filters. They don't only sound good, but look great in the engine bay. Only thing is that they are $$$$ compare to the SRIs that are on the market today.
