ECU reset?

I never did either. Just the auto up/down window and the info screen in the dash got reset.

Forget all the bs, just disconnect the negative for a few minutes, 5 to be safe.

Why are you resetting the ECU? There really is no point in it. If you want your ECU to adapt to new mods faster, just gun it around the block a bit. Resetting the ECU forces it to relearn everything again, taking more time.

i think that fixed my fuel range, it was showing me bogus miles left before empty, now it seems accurate. I only unplugged the Neg side of the battery cus i was uninstalling my short ram Stillens.

Is the method listed on the first post correct? I've never read about this method and I'd like to try it if someone can tell me exactly what to do...thanks.
