Anyone have a basslink Sub in their G??

I just ordered one from Amazon for 200.00$. from the reviews i have read online the Sub seems to give a good punch for the dollar. Also its very small and does not take up to much space. Does anyone have one of these or heard it before? Please post your thoughts on its performance. I figured the SOW could use aliitle more bass, but not ridiculous amount.

I had a basslink when I had my 05 coupe. I liked that it could wedge itself in the corner of the trunk (behind the tail lights). It fit so snugly that I didn't have to secure it any further.

As for the sound, I was surprised. It packed a lot of bass for the cost. It did a good job making up for where the stock system lacked. The volume **** was nice too. Make sure you follow the calibration instructions that come with it.

When you do your install please provide a writeup on your installation, or at least let me know how it went.

Basslink has good 40Hz potency. Below that, not so much. That is certainly better than the SOW which I feel lacks low end. I had a basslink in a Maxima and was pretty happy with it's performance.

I have the basslink in my coupe. Sounds great, because im not a a real bass junky but i do like deep bass. Its an awesome bass filler because i always thought our cars lack the deep bass without rattling our trunks. If you have any questions just ask..

Ill write up a summary and add pics after the install.
What about the BASSLINK II? I read reviews for both of them and ended up going with the first model. Do you think there is a huge difference besides the 50more watts?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the Basslink II is larger. With the coupe at least, Basslink II's wont fit in that little cavity in the trunk..

baselink

i had one in my 03 MDX and it sounded nice in the SUV. I still have it after i gave back the leased MDX, and was wondering if its still good, and how it would be installed in the G sedan. Please post instructions on how you installed. I unfortunatly dont have the wires, since i had it totally wired up to the battery and left them all connected to the X. I just have the unit.

Im really not into music like that anymore. I used to have a 91 legend that would set alarms off that were down the block and across the street. I still have 1 10 inch sub (my other one fell and broke) which is 2ohms. I also have a 1000 watt 2 channel amp which is also 2ohms for this. Im actually a little skeptical that the G's factory system can handle this bass without being overwhelmed.

I am stuck between using this setup and just buying myself a baselink. What im curious about is 1. Does anyone think the g's factory system will be able to handle the power of what i mentioned up top. And 2 would either setup hookup the same to the factory system? Or is the baselink easier to hook up to a factory system? I remember on my 05 maxima i had to use something called the bose pac oem converter or something. Is it the same for the G, and would it be the same for either system i use?
