So with the new model year, I've seen the lighted sill plates. anyone have any info as to if they can be installed on the 07's? Or how much they cost?

i've been waiting for these to come out! i was in contact with my dealer and they dont have any as of yet, but are expecting to get some by the beginning of the year. and yes, he said they will work on the '07.

I want these so bad. Ive been PMing Jason about checking into them but hes been slow to respond. Id assume they can be thrown in the 07 sedan no problem. I smell a group buy.

I believe the illuminated kickplates are for the coupe only (from the factory). However, Jason may eventually find a way for the sedan guys and gals to get it too.

 

Ya the idea is to get the parts and throw them in the sedan. It shouldnt be hard unless the plates are physically unable to fit in the door of the sedan. But I looked at some coupe sills and they look like theyre about the same size. So shouldnt be an issue if someone could just do some measurements for us.

 

I was recently driving an M35 loaner and loved the sills. I have to take my car to the dealer this Thursday and am going to inquire about cost and fitment into the G.

 

Working on finding out if the 08 sedan illuminated kick plates will fit and what will be needed for installation.

Did I read that correctly? The 08 sedan Illuminated kick sills? I didn't notice they were an option for hte 08 sedan. I might be wrong, can someone please clarify. Thanks.

Look at my thread... I have links to a few different sites listing them as an available option.
We've also confirmed through a few dealerships that they are available, although none of them have seen an 08 come in with them yet. It's a late availability item.
