Great job Terry and Fast07GSdn. As an old fart myself, I'm leaning towards the exhaust w/o HFCs.

One question Terry - in your dyno chart below, does the Fast Intentions exhaust produce more power at virtually all RPMs (except for the tiny blip at 5K and 6.2K where it appears the curves cross) or does the exhaust shift the power curve to a higher RPM so that the stock exhaust makes more hp/torque below 5K RPM, with the Fast Intentions exhaust making more hp/torque above 5K RPM?

Also, was this dyno done with the Sebring mufflers or the Magnaflows?

I had to pull the original plot out of my file cabinet to get a better look. From the HP plots on the right, the curves actually do not cross. The FI exhaust is the curve that was always on top at every RPM and peaks out at 251.5HP.

From the torque curve on the left, the peak torque (209.2 ft-lb) shifted slightly toward the right occurring close to 5400 RPM. The peak torque stock (203.7 ft-lb) occurres closer to around 5100 RPM.

This was done using the Magnaflows which flows similar to the Sebrings (both are perforated cores as opposed to baffled or chambered).

after a nice phone conversation, one word....
WOW...
this is the type of shop I have been waiting for. Mainly concerned about placing a great product in a paying customers hands. Service, Reliability, and Reputation.

Even since around the time stillen released their exhaust, I kept waiting for something else to come out. Long story short, i just do not trust them any more. After almost 8 years in the aftermarket game, their name has fallen from the top, to the bottom of my list to buy from. They concentrate mainly on trying to increase their dollar made per sale.

After the conversation with tony and various reviews from previous Z and G35 coupe owners, this will be the sought after exhaust manufacturer for our platform here in north america. The great sound we look for, performance numbers we want, and the satisfaction to confidently buy will bring the masses. I know I am with many others in saying we are eager to be apart of your companies growth and success!

good luck and look forward to buying from you FI!!!

mike

The online tracker says my stuff should be here on Tuesday (HFC & exhaust).
I will have everything done ((before and after) dino and the install) on Friday... if I can even wait that long
And yes, I will postpone the joyriding until after I post the results...

Ivory, you hit the nail on the head with these guys. Nothing but the best from them. They are not like very many companies. They actually give a rats *** about us and our happiness and our money!! they could charge way more for their products but don't. HP gains, sound gains and customer service are all the best of the best. I am so glad I went with them

they did the exhaust on my boy's jetta back a year or 2 ago and he referred me to them and i owe him big time. Bump to these guys at FI for being stand up and honest unlike Stillen.
