I'll take the 08. The iPod integration is simply awesome. I can live w/o the other stuff.

Personally I like the compass, there has been a few times I'm not using nav and it was good to 'doublecheck'. Could I live without it? Absolutely.

For the gains, the lighted sills would have been cute... but I still haven't taken the blue plastic off the aluminum. The color doesn't bug me, and maybe the next owner will think I'm THAT **** about the car.

Abrupt throttle response? Not on the 6-speed cars.

Now let's get back to that iPod option.

hey did jason or anyone ever figure out if we(07's) can use the lighted sills???

He's working on pricing, and information on how much of a nightmare it'll be to install.
That info, he has not gotten back to us on yet.

the nav screen does have an analog compass dial at the left base of the map.

Not sure whether this answers the original question, but I have a 2007 G35x (No nav) and wanted an autodimming mirror with compass. Got the following fleabay mirror installed by the guys at Circuit City - works very well.
