holy shiitt... after reading all the reviews and personally hearing about "strafe customer service" i don't even want to fall into that "drama'".. I know ppl here on the East Coast that haven't got their parts or even heard from them in months... BOY am i glad i stumbled upon this thread!... hahah and to think i was about to drop my hard earned money on Strafe.. The Strafe website does look professional and have a bunch of "exclusive" items, but their customer service doesn't seem to match any of that. I feel very fortunate that I didn't rush in to ordering my parts from them......

any body know where i can refer me to place that provide similar parts with GREAT or at the least decent customer service?

Actually the OP states we have a great service. Yes there has been a few snafu's in delivery. We have plenty of satisfied customers who don't post.

First off I have nothing against strafe, I have exchanged PMs with Dustin they were pleasent and with out issues but I have never purchased anything so I have no real experience with them to draw from.

But this thread has me confused, you bought a " one off prototype" your words not mine [

I am not sure what that means to others but to me it means you have the only one in existance and it is not in production, yet someone spent hours online looking for a part number for it also I not sure what this thread has do do with Strafe at all they never delivered you anything or got any tangible results .
The thread title should read "thank you Danny from Slammered-inc" sounds like he got results the rest is hear say and fluff IMO. After reading it I knew how it would go as well. OP didn't buy it from Strafe however Strafe "spends hours" tring to help him Find a part for his kit that is the only one in the world but every day I see a new thread about people can't get responses about parts they bought from Strafe no doubt this thread back fired. It annoyed me and I am impartial to the Strafe Drama.

On a side note had a similar experience I was looking for a mold on trunk spoiler and PMed Strafe they couldn't get one so I PMed Slammered-inc and Danny got me one....maybe I should make a thread thanking Strafe?? .

Like I said I usually stay out of these threads because I don't care either way and this is nothing against Strafe because its not thier thread but this thread was too stupid to just ignore! LOL

Fail thread of the year

The only fail I see lies with the OP. The title is misleading to the point where people who have had bad service feels compelled to post and vent their anger. I am 100% sure if the title was named "Thank you Strafe or Thank you Dustin," it would not have incited this much hate and unrelated posting. So.. yea. I'm indifferent with Strafe service since I have never bought anything from them.. but was thinking about a Strafe V1 lip trunk.. but after all these posts, I would probably choose to deal with other dealers that sell Strafe products-- hey I guess this thread was a bit helpful. A bit counter productive for Strafe, since it was supposed to be a praise, but helpful to new customers planning to buy Strafe products.

If someone asks about a vendor, the same vendor other people have/had issues with, then of course those people are going to chime in.

That's the point. The OP didn't really mean to ask about strafe. He was actually just writing a review for Strafe and their customer service. That is why the title is misleading.. because he words it like he doesn't know about Strafe customer service.
