Eurosports (Honolulu) FU**ED ME!!!
Eurosports (Honolulu) FU**ED ME!!!
As some of you may know...
After a eagerly waiting for my rims to be shipped form the mainland to Hawaii on Monday March 30, 2004 I FINALLY received them... as soon as i got them, i took the rims and tires down to Eurosport to have them mount the tires onto the rims...
Later on that day i picked up my stuff and found out that they scratched 3 out of the 4 rims!!! WTF!?!?!?
At first they denied that it was their fault...
After a few minutes they accepted it was their fault, but that it was probably something smeared onto the rim while it was being mounted... so i told them i'd take it home and try polish it myself since by then they were closed...
Couple of days later i called them up and told them that it WAS indeed scratched. So i was told to talk to David (the GM of Eurosport). After talking with him he said to drop the damaged rims off and that one of the GM's friends would try to repair the damage and that it should be done in a couple of days... 4 days later i decide to call and check on the status and they said that they were ready for a couple of days already. I go down to pick them up and guess what? One of the two rims i dropped off was "repaired" however it has swirl marks all over the lip, the second rim was NOT repaired at all... the clear coat was just polished off and bare metal was now showing.
I try to talk to the manager and they said he was gone for 2 weeks (vacation) and that i have to await till he comes back to see what will be done next... I wait 2 weeks... he comes back, i get a hold of him and now David is telling me that IS NOT THEIR FAULT MY RIMS GOT SCRATCHED, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE QUALITY OF THE THINGS THEIR CUSTOMERS TAKE FOR THEM TO INSTALL... and trust me, my rims ARE OF REALLY GOOD QUALITY not that cheap stuff they sell!!!... and that they have done all they can do to help me out, and that they only helped me out because they felt bad because my rims got scratched but that it wasnt their fault...
Having heard David say that just threw me off... IF i break something that was brand new when i got it i'll make sure its fixed properly!!! not just blame it on you because we screwed up and dont want to accept the fact that it was our fault!!!
Fine, I'll speak to the owner... Couple of days later... i get a hold of the owner... and guess what? Bob (the owner) gives me a sh*tload of attitude!!! i asked him if he knew what i was calling about... and he says: "I don't know anything about your situation, but my manager knows everything, and since he knows what the situation is i DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH IT, he is VERY CAPABLE of handling it, so i WILL NOT DEAL WITH IT" and after that he pretty much just hung up...
WHAT THE F**K!?!?!?
I guess so much for customer satisfaction...
Now there is going to be a few third parties involved on this mess... Better Business Bureau... a TV News segment that is out to get crooked business... a state office of Consumer Affairs... and this is just to begin with...
So people, IF you go to Eurosport to have something done to your car... BE CAREFUL!!!
For those of you who either know of anybody who works there or maybe even you work there and are reading this... ALL I ASK is PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES... and then criticize accordingly...
I'm outtie...

Re: Eurosports (Honolulu) FU**ED ME!!!
Sorry to hear about what happened to you over there. Funny part was that I was talking to someone else that I work with and apparantly there has been some issues with them on other things as well unbeknown to me.
Thanks for the heads up though and good luck in getting the issues resolved.

Re: Eurosports (Honolulu) FU**ED ME!!!
That really sucks. I am 100% positive you will come out of this one on top. By law, if they agree to fix your rims after they were scratched on their dollar, then they have just proved that they knew it was them that damaged your wheels. Somebody owes you some new wheels.

Re: Eurosports (Honolulu) FU**ED ME!!!
Umm....totally F'ed up! Sorry about that folks, but that doesnt sound right at all. Especially coming from Bob and Dave. I don't know what I can do or say about that, but in the long run, they are legally responsible for ANY damaged goods. Was there any waivers signed about damaged items? If so, have them take a look at it again and remind them about their legal responsibility.
I've dealt with Eurosport many times, (even had my car in their exhibition booth once), and they (Bob) have a reputable company, from what Ive seen.
I hope everything works out for you. Good luck!!

Sorry to hear that. I hope everything works out. I've never had a problem with Eurosport. Maybz they got issues right now.

You should contact the BBB first. If nothing comes of that, go get a real estimate on how much you need to be reimbursed to get everything fixed back to new and then file a claim in small claims court. Make sure you have everything documented. Also take lots of pictures.
