What needs to be replaced with 20's

Do i need to replace my shocks/struts?

Will 20's fit with no rubbing?

What is the optimal tire size?

20's fit and actually still leave a gap. i got 245 35 20 all around but you can go 255 all around or 275 in the back but i like to have the same tire size on the front and back so you can rotate them.

Nothing, just get an alignment after the install.

One thing you may need to replace is the empy space in your bank account after the purchase.

My sedan rubs a bit with the eibachs, even thought they tuck nicely in the wheelwells. Just make sure the offset is correct before getting them and you shouldn't have that problem.

I think I'm going to go with Benedetto Dumanis

The tire package from www.superbuytires.com comes with

245/35ZR20
245/40ZR20
255/35ZR20

Which one should I go with?

Also, I think I'm going to go with Pirelli
PZero System Asimmetrico for tires. Anyone heard anything negative about them?

Here's a pic of them on a black g35

Do you have a sedan? 245/35/20 is the way to go if so.

just curious, i thought the only time you do alignment is when you change the height of the ball. if you didn't lower your car, you shouldn't need to do alignment. I as told that way. Am i wrong to assume that? thanks.

As far as I know, you are absolutely right. There is no need for an alignment just from changing the tires and wheels, but I guess it couldn't hurt.

Re: What needs to be replaced with 20's

Anytime you change wheels and tires you need to have your car aligned. When you change to a wider or different height tire your car sits differently than it did from the factory. If you dont get it aligned your tires will wear unevenly.
