Re: Scrape!!!
The stock daimeters of the OEM wheels and tires are very similar for the 17's and 18's on the Coupe. With about 5" of overall clearance, (and no suspension lowering), you shouldn't scrape that much except maybe on the parking lot cement dividers and maybe speed bumps, or steep ramps.
To change your wheel and tire combination, you should maintain the correct diameter so as not to upset the VDC and ABS.(and speedo), so going to a 19" won't help.

Re: Scrape!!!
Thats a weird problem dude, maybe infiniti should do something about it. I havent heard of anybody complaining about that with a stock car. I never scrape on my 18s.
Ahh look, its 420 ...... I gotta go.

Re: Scrape!!!
Just learn how to drive a "low" car, i.e. hitting driveways sideways, and parking a few feet from those pesky parking blocks. If you are scraping that much, perhaps it's time to trade the G in for an FX45 or an s.u.v. Anyhow, lower is better anyway. Just use caution in shatty parking lots, etc.

Re: Scrape!!!
hey i don't think you all understanding the issue...
Aldo is having a problem not with parking blocks but other obsticles on the road: speed bumbs, inclines, etc.
When we had our rides right next to eachother his ride looked a good 1.5 in lower than mine, and i got stock 18's still...
What aldo is wondering is will switching to 18's or 19's raise the car any...?
I am not an expert on this but it should i think. That is the main reason all these people getting 19's and 20's have gone with the eiback pro set to lower their rides because they said it looked higher after the switch.
If the tubes are like 3/4" thick, then a the clearance is cut down to like 4in where (theoretically) if he were to get larger rims he could retain or enlarge his clearance to like 5+ in.
What recommendations do you all have in the way of 18' or 19's for this application... not brand but size
I am thinking front 245/18/30 and rear 275/18/30 or somewhere in that area.. that shold give a lift... but not too much... and if more is needed same spec's but with 19's.
What ya'll think?
Peace

Re: Scrape!!!
The G is relatively low to begin with. Putting taller tires on will impede the performance of the vehicle to some degree. Different rims and tires are not the solution here. I scraped on speed bumps on stock 17's as well. It's just the nature of the vehicle vs. poorly designed roads and parking lots. On the sedan 20's are about 1/2 inch taller than the stock 17's if you go with 245/35's which I believe is the closest match available to stock height. To gain 1.5 inches in additional height you'd have to get lift springs or something. What size tires are you running by the way?

Whats with bashing the neon... orljmh your running ghetto blingage on your shoes, neon is simply another expression of different tastes.
The Neon Blue Gold Series look amazing on the G. Not like on ricer POS, fiberglass, multicolor, tri-winged, slow wannabe's. The G is a beast and has the looks to pimp the neons, it looks classy orljmh the same way your blingage looks classy! Especially if the car is limo tinted, piaa hyper leds all over, Euro type-r fogs and brights, clear corners, 8 grand stereo, and performance mods: the neons fit the car! Of course this is my opinion! They fit miami real well too, while in the burbs they might not fit as well.
The city of miami, and miami beach have neon thrown all over the town from massive neon displays on skyscrapers to bridges, to simple little neon rings on the top of palm trees...
