Tire Pressure Problem
Tire Pressure Problem
I bought my last set of tires last year and one wheel start to leak pressure slowly. So every two to three weeks I have to bring the pressure back up. The OEM set didn't have this problem. I thought it might be a bad tire and I don't mind checking my tire pressure. Anyway, I just bought a new set and that same freaking wheel is loosing pressure again. I think the TMPS is corroded and slowly leaking. Anybody comments from you guy? Could it be the wheel itself?
Also, where can I buy the TMPS?

Gotta Leak........?
This happned to me when I had my Volks installed. Volks have stickers inside
the rim and one of them was too close to the lip causing my tire to have a
very slow leak. They found it by dunking the tire/wheel in a vat of water and
looking for bubbles to locate the problem.....anyway by dunking the tire
the problem shows up quickly and can be fixed!

bent rim
my right front rim is bent slightly and i do face problems in filling it up ever so offten.. could that explain when i drive on the highway i hear almost like a loud humming noise..
WHat you want to check is the valve pin, the tire, the wheel for dents, cracks, & the bead if they are corroded & if that doesn't do it check for what is called a porosity leak in the barrel of the wheel.
If all that fails, junk the car & buy a yugo.
