Biggest Tire Size On OEM 19's

I want to get as big of a tire as i can on my OEM rims. I have the stock 19's, im thinking:

285-35-19
255-35-19

would these fit? too big? would it look weird in your opinion?

I read a thread last wk of a member getting 285 and having rubbing issues. Go through the first couple of pages and look for it. I personally have 275/30/19 and 245/35/19. Installers said it was a bitch getting them on but they look so freaking sweet!

Absolutely too big for the OEM 19's. The widest you should go is 245 on the front, and 255 on the rear. A 285 needs a minimum width of 9.5"

245 in the front and 265 in the back is the widest u can go without any safety issues. I have 255/30s on my OEM 19s and the tire looks like it has easy 10 mm more to go without looking stupid.

yes, the car is pretty low though. The rear fender sits right on the tire.

Depends on the width. 245/35/19 and 255/40/199 is my recommendation

stock profile is 40, it looks ugly IMO. 35 series looks much nicer especially on a lowered car.

You realize that the aspect ratio of a tire is a percentage right? A 285/35/19 has a larger sidewall than a 245/40/19. I'll take function before form any day, messing with the odometer/speedometer readings significantly for looks is not a good idea IMO.

255/40/19 is wider than stock and is only 3mm taller than stock, which is why I recommend that size. A 265 rear is a difficult size because 40 series sidewalls a too tall compared to stock, and 35 series sidewalls are too short, either way to are going to throw off your odometer/speedoemeter readings. So 265/35/19 would be the better size probably, but still not optimal

U are aware that with bone stock tires and rims the speedo and tach becomes very inaccurate at high speeds right? I dont see what the big deal is about ur speedo not showing the right speed.
