whats the best way to change the color/finish on these rims? paint or powdercoat?

I plan on getting them in a gunmetal color. What would be the best way to achieve this? Some mentioned to me is to get em painted, since thats how most volk rim finishes are done, they are painted... but then others tell me to get them powdercoated. I'm not sure which method is the best.

Another thing of concern to me is, the more i get em painted/powdercoated or whatever, will it eventually degrade my rims over time? Cause I know they need to sand it down and stuff or strip whatever. I'm afraid if i change the colors too much that the quality of the metal on the rim would degrade. Is this true or not?

rock the blue it is super hot. get them painted easy fast looks good you get the color you want i think it looks way better and no you will not f with the metal you can paint them as many times as you want. if you paint them to many times it will need to be striped to the metal and painted again. paint will be good just poor prep is the worst thing that you could do. but rock the blue

just because something is rare doesn't make it look good imo. Your car better be very aggressive looking to pull that look off
