275 or 285: that is the question...on a 10 rear

needing some new rubber for my 20x 10 rear

bought a used set: currently 285's/30/20..with has like 20%

which one is better? overall... 275 are ok? or 285 better?

i see that people use 275s..doesnt that stretch it a bit at the end? leaving the lip/rim to exposure to damage? or gives it the look of the slant, and looks like it should have a wider tire?

the 285 covers the edges good goes all the way to the lip n some...

suggestions?

thanks guys...

I have Falken FK452's on my 10'' wheel in the back. The tire sits pretty much flush with the wheel but I would say it buldges more than it stretches if that makes sense.

If I bought new tires I would go with 275 for sure.

I am running 285's on my 20x10 but I had to roll my fenders to get them to work.

I'd go with 275 I think. I've got 285 invo's on my 10.5" rims and wish they had just a hint more stretch.

i am on Tein Basic Coilovers! thanks for the compliments! yes they are pricey as well. I think its the offset of my rims versus the size of the tires.

You should stay with the 285s. Bigger = way sexier. I'm running 285/35 on my 9.5 inch rim. I doubt you will have to roll your fenders for a 285/30 on a 10 rim.
