Just got some new wheels, sizes are as follows
19x8.5 +22 in front
19x10.5 +22 in rear

I plan on lowering with s-techs at first, coil-over shortly after.

Will i need spacers for a flush look? what sizes?

What tire sizes would you recommend?

Thanks

OP would 255/35 19 tires fit on 8.5 and 9.5 inch rims?

I have a staggared setup and I want to be able to rotate my tires and maybe reduce the negative camber in the rear.

My rear tires are currently 275/35 19.

What specific ymm? Taking a quick look the only ones I can find that are G specific are for sedans. 18x8 et45mm. They look even better in real life.

Those offsets should push them out quite a bit, esp in the rear. 255/35-19 and 285/35-19 would work well on a coupe.

YMM = 2010 G37x sedan...I was really interested in 19's though... what would you suggest for a mesh-like look but CONCAVE..without going typical Vossens - ($3000+ for rims)?

Neal,

What tire do you recommend for double duty as an autocross and street tire? I would like the tire to last for at least 6-9 months with about 1 event every month. Price would have to be not much more than $175 per tire. The course I drive is usually about 55-65 degrees.

I have a 2006 G35 Sedan with 7.5x18" rims. I am looking for 245/45/18's. I will only have 350Z suspension as a mod.

Thanks!

I'd look at the B-Stone RE-11 or Dunlop Z1 Star Spec. Both would work great on street and well on track.

have been searching through the forum regarding my question and all i am reading is mixed ideas.

Question: i will be buying winter tires for my 2003 coupe, my rims are 17", previous owner had 225/50/17 and 235/50/17 , i want to buy all four same size (local tire dealers says its ok to have 4 same size, but didnt wanna rely on them )

should i still go with the same staggered size, or having same size on four has no effect whatsoever on my car?(ecu, speedometer, this and that )

if same size what is the ideal size for all 4?

one last question, hankook 409 or micheline xice2 for Canada?
THank u so much!

It's been discussed many times, but you cannot run the same size all around due to VDC issues. There are threads here of people who have done that with real computer issues. Has to be staggered.

I'd stick with the 17's you already have on or a 225/50-17 front and 225/55-17 rear.

X-Ice II would be my top pick there.

Neal,
I have a '06 Coupe with
18 x 9.5 (+22) and 18 x 10.5 (+22)
If I remember correctly, you recommended
255/35-18s for the 9.5s and 285/35-18s for the 10.5s.
Do you know if 265s would rub up front?
Also, for the 10.5s, I'm looking at the PS2s and they aren't
available in 285s. Would 295s work?
Thanks for your help...

Not sure honestly. I'm sure there's a reason but they do not share that with the sales staff.

Yeah, 265's are a tad too wide for the front. Couldn't guarntee those would fit w/out rubbing. Only combo I can really say works w/out any issues is the 245/40R18 and 275/40-18.
