I have the W speed rated all around on my 2009 A4. Wouldn't recommend mixing the two speed ratings on the car.

No problem! PM me your zip and what size(s) decided on and I'll send you a quote.

Aside from aftermarket wheels, are there any other rims that will fit my car? Thinking about rims for winter use...keep the salt off the mags.

In Market for New Tires

I have a G35Xs and am in the market for new All-Seasons. My 2 candidates are the Bridgestone RE970AS or the Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06... Thoughts? Also, are there any special offers coming up for these 2 tires?

The 970 would be better in the steering response/dry handling side, while the Conti does much better in snow/ice on the winter side. I have many more purchase the Conti as its a tad more well rounded vs the B-Stone. No specials I know of soon, but we only get a one day notice before they hit anyway.

Goodyear F1 GS-2 in 245/45-18 are on closeout at tirerack.com -- three remaining. Has Goodyear stopped making this tire?

Neal,

Your website says that the 275/35/18 Bridgestone RE-11s are on backorder. Do you know when they will be available? Hopefully, they are still in production.

I'll be pairing it with 275/40/18s.

Yes, that tire has been discontinued and they are no longer being made. They were an oe tire for Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice back in the day.

Unfortunately we have not been given any new eta information on when the next shipment is coming. Our B-Stone rep was here today and they haven't given him any info either. I would probably move into another tire if you need something soon.

Thanks Neal. I have a set of winters so winter performance is really a non-issue for me. Which tire is better in the wet and quieter?

In that case I would lean toward the B-Stone.
