How wide are the wheels?
A quick search looks like 8" - 9" wide.
If thats the case I would look for other wheels or purchase some large spacers.

hey guys whats good i just got my G and i'm trying to figure out what kind of rims should i put. I do want to lowered with the S-tech teins 1.2 front and 0.9 rear. My questions is after i do this which rims size and offset should i get between these two?

I have two options for the same rim

FRONT
20x8.5 with 35 offset

20x9 with 20 offset

REAR
20x10 with a 35 offset

20X10.5 with a 30 offset

I would like to have a HUGE lip in the back but no any stretch tires or fender rolling. so please give me some suggestions....

go with the 20x9 +20 and 20x10.5 +30. u wont need to roll ur fenders or stretch ur tires with those weak offsets

ill right man thanks so you think that the 20x10.5 with the 30 offset will have more lip than the 20x10 with the 35 offset?

yea u always want to go w/ the wider wheel .

get the sizes i said earlier and slap on a 245/35/20 front and a 275/35/20 rear and u should be set. no fender rolling needed or stretch.

I'm picking up a 2004 G35 sedan this weekend and want to pick up some new wheels. I've been reading these forums the last few days to try and understand what will fit my car, but I'm still a bit unclear to what will fit it properly. It's currently at stock ride height, but am planning on lowering the car a few inches to get rid of the gap.

I'm thinking of picking up XXR 521's 18x8.5 +25 all around. Will I have any issues with these sticking out past the fenders? Or will they be fairly flush? Thoughts?

05 Sedan Droped 1.6 on rsr, Rear Fenders rolled.

So I Narrowed it down to the
18x9.5 +38 all around 245/40 front 285/35 rear

will the front have enough clearance on the inside to not hit the upper control arm, or whatever bar goes up to it? I have been through a few rims and noticed some rubber at that upper a arm.

Would 245/40 front be okay?
255/35 be okay?

TIA

I dont want to run more than neg 2.5 camber. Which set up would work with out rubbing?
Also which would look better?

I also have brembos but I dont think that should be a problem.

You should be fine with inner clearance. I'd go with a 255/40 up front if you're going 285/35 out back, it will look better with the wide tire out back . The 245 would be a very slight stretch and look funny.

Please don't suggest that people put a 275/35/20 on their G. That's over an inch taller in diameter than stock and not to mention looks like **** with that much sidewall on 20's. The proper rear sizes are 255/35, 275/30, 285/30, and 295/25 for 20" wheels on the G.

Could some one help me out with tire size?
On my 350z, i have front 225/45/18 on 8" wide stock rims. With my drop, im tucking the sidewall a little bit.
I plan on keeping it tucked. If i go with stretched look in the future like 245/45 or 40/18 on 18x10.5 rims, not completely sure on how much stretch look i'll get from that set up though, what's the prefered side wall height? i sometimes feel like 45 profile looks too beefy on my stock set up.
If i go 40 profile, i need to keep my current ride height. Then i'll lose the hellaflush look.
If i go 45 profile, i can dorp the car .5" more. I'll have more hellaflush look but the sidewall might look too beefy. i can't go 40 profile AND drop .5" because the total drop in height would let me scrape my exhaust flange and get stuck before speedbumps.
what do you think i should do?
