What do you guys use to clean your wheels? I have some work vs-ms wheels with a polished lip/gunmetal face and I want to clean them without scratching/messing them up. All advice and feedback is greatly appreciated. Just want to pamper them the same way I do to my car with washing and waxing lol thanks in advance!

I have a 05 sedan and I was about to purchase 19x9.5 +42 with a 245/40/19 tire for the front/rear but was told that the fronts may not fit and possibly hit the control arm. Can someone tell me if I would be OK? Would adding a spacer fix it. Not sure if I would still be tucked or more out, sorry.

If it's not ideal than I plan to go

F:19x8.5 +38 | 225/40/19
R:19x9.5 +42 | 245/40/19

Unfortunately the rims I want does not offer other offsets. I plan to roll fender if I need to. Thanks.

i find wheel cleaners to be too harsh for the most part. Car soap a microfiber sponge to remover dirt and dried with a terry cloth always works for me

hard to tell depends on the drop and offset of the wheel. aggressive offsets and/or drops will need camber adjustment to get it close to stock spec. post drop and offset to get a better idea.

245/35 and 275/30 (or 265/30)

SPL is the only real suggestion. Megans are cheap but ONLY add negative camber, so keep that in mind in you decide to pick those up. (SPLs are $500 megans are like $250)

Invisible glass or any quick detailer spray (might be called a spray wax depending on the brand)

Adding a spacer will definitely fix it. and you'll have room for one up to about a 15mm spacer. You should be fine with that set up.

The second set up also works but again, since they are smaller you'll want a spacer just to make them look right.

You also have room for a larger tire out back if you wanted.

Okay so I have a question of my own. I have the second generation sedan "08 G35xs" and want to run Varrsteon 2.2.2 19x8.5 +32 offset front and 19x9.5 +35 offset rear. Heres the question can I run these at stock height and should I change/request a different offset?

Setup is Megan Coils and Megan rear arms. I do not have arms in the front, however the front area chassis is slotted up front so the camber can be adjusted from the bottom of the wheel vs. the top. Camber is set close to spec. Rear is around -1.8~-1.9.

Wheel guru's quick question, will 19x11 +15 clear the front strut and arm without spacers? Non brembo setup coupe.

They sometimes smack the...top of the fender/up inside the fender actually. Did that make sense? lol sorry. Mine occasionally smack on bumps. :/

Don't run Falkens. Front tire size is perfect. The rear is really up to you, the 265/30 will stretch like a 245/35. You could also run a 275/30 or 255/35, they're nearly identical. I'd go with the first option myself. Pull isn't absolutely necessary, but you're looking at -4* camber front and rear with no other fender work. I'd get a mild pull, about 10mm or so, front and rear, so you can be under -3*. But it's really up to you how much camber you want/willing to run.

Yea. No prob. 11.5s have enough clearance too.
