+1 on everything Drew Drew said....and with the whole chains thing umm i don't know how well thats really gonna work especially if you ever lower and also with how much extra room you have after you decide on your tire thickness and your offsets...

 

I have some volk sf challenge Front 19x8.5 +34 offset and Rear 19x9.5 +36 the tires i have on now are Front 245/35/19 rear 255/40/19 but i don't like the way they look I am lowered on eibach prokit but will be in coilovers in 2 weeks. I like the stretch tire look but not sure what sizes would be good with out going extreme. Any help would be good thanks

Which is why I figure'd i'd ask. I figure if I went with a coil-over setup I would just keep it raised to factory height during the snowy seasons in case I needed them and bring them back down afterwards.

lol no. well you could, but you'd need a serious pull and a lot of camber. I'll let blain elaborate on that some more.

Adrian - you could do that, and get two sets of tires. one stretched set for summer stance and then a winter/snow tire.

 

Anyone recommend a spacer size for my fronts? I know you can't tell much from this pic. But i've measured it, and it's about 1" (or just a tad bit less) from the end of the rim to being flush with fender. (with the current camber)

The tires are barely stretched in the front, so I won't be able to get it as aggressive as the rears. But I don't mind switching tires.

Specs are 18x9.5 +25

The rears are 18x13 -6.

I will relip the fronts another inch when the time comes. But for now, I just want to space it out. I was thinking maybe a 25MM to make it flush with the fender? Or should I go with a 30 for a little more poke and stretch more. I think with 25s I can keep the tires as is.

245/35, really? must be a really small running tire. if the rim is exactly 1" or 22mm, I would I expect a 20mm would be the most to be safe without rubbing. 25 would be pushing it (without an ever so slight pull or smaller tire). I would do a smaller tire and a 25mm.

 

I forgot to double check the tires while I was down in the garage. lol. I have the wheels up for sale though and the ad says those specs. So I think they're right.

i mean I could always swap out the tires. They are brand new in the front (like 900 miles). I'd just get a skinnier tire without spending a cent so I don't care about having to get a new tire. I just want the wheel to be at least close to the aggressiveness of the rear.
