Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
I have some volk sf challenge Front 19x8.5 +34 offset and Rear 19x9.5 +36 the tires i have on now are Front 245/35/19 rear 255/40/19 but i don't like the way they look I am lowered on eibach prokit but will be in coilovers in 2 weeks. I like the stretch tire look but not sure what sizes would be good with out going extreme. Any help would be good thanks
yea. for sure. what's the rear specs again? then I can tell you how much more you'd need for it to start looking proper.

if you eventually want the same camber/will have the same natural camber in the future, you'll essentially want a 12 -8 up front, but idk if 12s fit up front. when you rebarrel, you can turn it into a 11.5 +1, then add a 15mm spacer to make it equivlant to a 12 -8, and run a 255 or larger run 245 on it. (fyi, if you rebarrelled to a 12, it would have an et of -5)
whatever you choose to do, you'll start looking much better after you rebarrel to a 10.5 +13 or 11.5 +1 up front, regardless of use of spacers.
there's just so many options when it comes to rebarrelling/spacers/addition of camber kits.

basic math, lol. for every .5" of lip you add, you add 6mm to the offset. but you gotta remember it becomes 12mm more aggressive overall. (half inch is ~12mm. 6mm is applied to the inside and outside lip, hence the 6mm offset adjustment). for example. 9.5 +17, a standard gt-s set up. if I rebarrel to 10", my offset is +12, but 10 +12 is 12mm more aggressive than 9.5 +17.
at least I hope it's like that. LOL. that's how L-Fab explained it to me when I wanted to rebarrel my gt-s to 20" steps. Blain, is what I said correct? make sure before I completely FUBAR somebodys wheels.

http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
Type in 10.5 , +17 in the first two
And 11 , +11 (since you subtract 6mm right?)
The outcome is that it extends 12mm outward more.
If this calculator is correct.

Correct. As I said. I slightly reworded it. Hopefully it makes sense now. I'm tired.
Edit: In the case you want to find the same aggressiveness in a wider wheel, obviously do the opposite and add 6mm/.5" added to the offset. 9.5 +17 = 10 +24.
