If I'm barely rubbing on hard turns with 285/30/19r, would I stop rubbing with 275/35/19r?

 

changing up my stance. currently running 19x9.5/10.5 et.+17/18 on 245/35 and 275/35.

new tires: 225/35, 245/35
suspension: slammed on stance coils. ie. curryboyy or w4kj4k's old gt-s set up.
fenders: rolled flat/pinched

looking to run no more than -1.5 to -1.7 camber, and I need to now what offsets will put me around those goals. +2/+8? (I'm obviously going to be running spacers based off my original/current offsets of +17/+18). idk if I can push +2/+3 or -3/+8...halp? I think I got all the info down. lol

 

So I had the rears rolled thanks to GeeRider yesterday. I didn't hear any rubbing on the way home. I plan to lower a bit in the future with some 350z revised springs and I think that could give me issues again.

I've never had staggered wheels before and I've had a couple of different opinions. ex. Someone said I can't go square with staggered wheels and go to a 225 on my 18's because it would cause the back tire to be "stretched" ? Someone else disagreed and thought the difference from 245 to 225 wouldn't be noticed.

If someone could please clear up what size would be ideal for an 03 sedan with 350z revised springs ( I don't need super wide or rubbing). I'd prefer if my tires don't come out beyond the body and I would like a square setup for rotation purposes.

1. For my winter setup with 350z touring 18" staggered wheels.

2. For my summer setup with 19" forged Rays staggered wheels.

And will this put my alignment out requiring it to be setup?

Yes it will fit.But you might want some spacers.

 

You can go square on staggered wheels. lots of people run 245/40/19 all around on OE 19's as an example.
Keep in mind that if you run a square set-up on staggered wheels for rotation purposes, you will at one point have a wider wheel on the front of your car.

If your alignment is good now, changing the wheels/tires wont affect that.

 

is it because it won't clear the brakes?? also my rear fender lips are rolled.

 

^ just to make it flush. Go with a 10 or 15mm spacer purely for aesthetics.
