What was the tire set up that he had for his front on that setup, Dranom? Do you know?

What brand of tire? I know some stretch true, small, and large. Only reason why I'm asking is, I'm looking to change my tires to the Nitto 555's or Toyo T1R's in the front, 225/35 to prevent the minor rubbing that I have when I hit some sudden dips, like on highways and stuff. If I were to go that route, which tire would you recommend?

I'm just wondering if stretching the tire will fix the problem. I'm currently running 245/35 Yoko S-Drives on my 20x9.5 +15 in the front. My front fenders are already rolled flat and I've removed the screw clip backings out of the liner. My camber is within spec, -.08 on both sides. I've been talking to Eurodre and asking him about my problem and he recommended that I hammer down flat the front bumper mounts that are tucked in behind the liner. I have done that as well (probably not as flat as I can get it, but I'm afraid of cracking it), but I still rub on that piece of metal when my suspension goes up during these sudden dips.

I do know that minor rubbing cannot be avoided and I'm accepting the fact, but will the stretch help reduce this problem? You can clearly see on my tire where the front bumper mount bracket is starting to cut into my tire. Its very apparent on the driver's side tire too.

looking at a deal on a wheel/tire set and wondering if it'll fit and if a fender roll will be needed in back.

05 Sedan on Z/Coupe springs with sport suspension (f/r)

Front: 18x8.5 offset ? with 245/40/18 (I'm sure this won't be an issue)
Rears: 18x9.5 offset 25 with 285/40/18

your tires are too fat and cars too low (For that tire)! also S-drives have squared sidewalls(not really good for stretching) but if you run 225/35 you will tuck since you have high offsets.

whats your wheel specs anyways?

You will totally rub with 18x9.5 offset 25 with 285/40/18 on the rear of an 05 sedan

I think that will definitely rub in the rear. I have 05 Sedan with the coupe 19's and 245's all around. I had 255's on the rear and I had to roll the fenders to get them to not rub. Keep in mind I am running -2.5 degrees camber in the front and -2.25 degrees camber in the rear.

The wheel specs for the coupe 19's are:
19" 5 split spoke (2005+ Coupe optional)
Front: 19"x8" +30mm offset
Rear: 19"x8.5" +33mm offset

I would start by testing a wheel with a +45 offset.

I am currently getting 19x9.5 +12 fronts and 19X10.5 +12 rears, I was wondering what tire size would be a small enough stretch to help me lower the car to have a slight bit of tire tuck. My rears are rolled and I would like to get as close to stock camber as possible with the bit of tire tuck

Also I am looking for a good tire brand for stretching. I used to have toyo t1r and they were a bit too loud, I currently have yoko s-drives but as I read above they seem to not be too good for stretching.

I forget what kind they were off the top of my head, but it was a steal with fairly new tires included.

And I want to stick with 18s. I burn through tires too quickly at the track & rallies/events, so I don't want the extra expense (or weight) of 19s.

Thanks!. I'm only running about -1.3 degrees camber all the way around, so that's good to know.

20x9.5 +15 and 20x10.5 +15

I'm thinking of switching out now. Probably going to put my front tires on my rear wheels and and then run a smaller tire in the front. I was thinking either Toyo T1R or Nitto 555, 225/35.

What would be the most aggressive set up possible if fenders are pulled and rolled flat on a slammed G? Thinking about ditching the bombacher's and going in a totally different direction...

Thanks for the advice. I'll pull the trigger on this in about a month or so. Appreciate it Dranom!

no problem bro!
you probably need to dial in some positive camber since the wheels will tuck for sure
