found a good deal on some Nankangs, anyone have experience with them?

http://www.onlinetires.com/products/...994/91000.html

They are about $80 cheaper for four tires then the Hankooks

I love nankangs, I've stretched them on tonnes of set ups and not had any separated sidewalls, blow outs or weirdness. If you can deal with some road noise then go for em. Not to say they are obnoxiously loud, but they definitely are not the quietest tire out there.

But for $20 a tire, just go with the Hankooks and keep an eye on the tire pressure so they don't bubble.

what do you mean, keep an eye on the pressure? make sure they stay at 40psi? what would cause them to bubble, and i assume you are referring to the sidewalls correct?

Yea, hankooks have a small past of mild bubbling when the PSI is low. And you don't need to run 40PSI unless you're having seating issues. just over stock PSI is fine (I run roughly 35)

Would A-disk Work Euroline DH's clear Brembo's w/ a 15mm spacer?

4DGS I know you already gave your input lol, but I want to see if anyone else has input. I'm still not convinced due to the wheel faces.

^Goin from a 40 to 35 will decrease your sidewall height by about 0.5 inch, so I'm sure that will stop your rubbing issues.

ok i havnt posted on this thread in forever but i need a bit of advice...ive been running 245/35/19 on a 9.5 front and a 275/30/19 on a 10.5 rear on my +12 varrstoens with rears rolled for like 6 months now and i love them but its time to go wider so i purchased some 235/35 and 255/35 and four 15mm spacers...so id be at -3 all around...i thought this would be fine since ive seen others go even wider on those tire sizes...input??

im on coilovers obviously.

Fitment gurus! I need a second opinion please..

Im looking to buy new wheels in 18x9.5/10.5 + 4 all around, running a 235/35 and 265/35. Now, I'm ALMOST positive that these'll sit pretty flush, with just my rears rolled flat, but I could be wrong. Would I need to get a pull/flare with these offsets?

How's your buddy's 225/30 on 9.5 Hankooks holding up? Is it on a g35? I was just about to pull the trigger on them but the guy I was ordering from said that the load rating for 225/30 is too low for the g35 and I would blow the tires. He didn't even know I was guna stretch them so it sounded a bit risky. Upping to a 235/30 will get me at least within 1 of the recommended load rating so I was wondering how your friend's tires were doing.

One more question, does the g35 coupe have enough inner clearance for a 11.5 wide rim up front?

Technically that's not going wider, it's the opposite but I know what you're saying hahaha.

Yea man that's a fine stretch and -4 won't be an issue for the coupe. Natural camber and being rolled flat should be enough to make them fit. If you have rubbing issue either add a touch of camber or slight pull of the fenders. BUT you're only going to rub if your camber is very minimal naturally. So you should be fine!

Do you want to run zero camber? You will need some mild negative camber in order for them to not rub with that tire size. LMK if you're trying to zero the camber or if you're looking at this set up for track wheels.

No complaints yet, but if you're worried move up one size. Personally I hate 30 series tires and try to stay away from them.

Not unless you go with a really low offset. The guys that have run an 11" up front were damn aggressive, so you'd have to top there specs and then some. It really depends on the offset but you WILL have a minor VDC issue with an 11.5 in the front.

Could you elaborate on the VDC issue? I thought that as long as I run a taller tire in the rear it should be fine no? Always thought VDC issues are caused by too short of a tire in the rear and not related to rim width.

Oh no, theres gonna be negative camber definitely haha. Should've said that earlier I guess the real question is could I go even more aggressive without a pull/flare? I was originally looking at +0 all around, but wasnt too sure if it would be TOO aggressive for coupe offsets.

On a side note, 4DGS, your sedan is so sick! I seen it on StanceNation a while back and couldn't stop drooling! haha
