Hey guys, Im looking at getting some new wheels and just wanted to make sure I'm making the right choice. I am looking at XXR 521s 20x8.5 20x10.5 and I believe the offset is +30 all around.
Now my first question is will this fit a stock suspension G coupe well? No rubbing?
And secondly, what size tires should I go with? I was thinking 245/35/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the back. Will this rub on the stock suspension?
I plan on getting Z H-techs after christmas so will this setup still work with those springs installed?
Thanks

As long as it is just a relip then yea, new spec would be 19x11 -22

Yea that set up is fine, you actually have room for some spacers to be honest. The front could handle probably a 15 without even pulling out the fender liner screws the rear can handle maybe an 8 before you roll the fenders. I highly recommend rolling the fenders though. Just saves you in the long run and you'd be able to run a 15mm spacer no problem.
So when I put the Z H-techs on will it rub at all? I'll definitely roll the rears before doing so, but do you think I'll have any issues once its lowered?

if youre going from 19" to 20" rims what problems would you run into?
Right now im on BC coilovers and the fenders are sitting a little above the wheel so theirs a small gap. im not looking into stretching or having thin wheels. and i guess another question what size tires should i run?
Thanks

Okay, with a 181 page thread, I can only read so much to search for an existing answer. So, I apologize but here is my offset question.
2003 sedan with stock sport suspension and 17" x 7” sport wheels
I am going to take this car to the track and am interested in the Enkei PF01 wheels. A shop that I checked with is recommending the following wheels.
Front - 18 x 8.5, +35, with 245/40 tire
Rear – 18 x 9.5 +35, with 275/35 tire
How close to the fender edges will these wheels come (not considering the differences in tire profiles from brand to brand)?
I do not need to have the wheels placed at the extreme outside limits. I am fine with them tucking comfortably. And, I would like to avoid rolling fenders if possible at this time. If I have enough fun on the track with this car, I will drop the suspension maybe a half to three quarters of an inch down the road.
Thanks in advance.

No, that is an alignment issue or a PSI issue.
For track use ROLL THE FENDERS. You're going to be cornering hard and you do not want the hard edge of the fender to cut through your tire and potentially harm you and other drivers on the track.
If you don't want to roll the fenders go with the 18x8.5 +35 all the way around.

Hey, I have a 2003 G35 coupe. I want to get some new wheels and i was thinking about running 18x9.5 fronts with 245/40/18's and 18x10.5 rears with 265/40/18's. What offsets would you guys reccomend? I have the Brembo's if that matters. Would I need to roll my fenders? Im on stock suspension now, but I plan on running either KW's or JIC coilovers (recommended by a BMW driver friend of mine).
Basically, I'm just trying to find out if i can run this setup with no issues, or if i would need to roll my fenders or something.
Thanks!

Not a problem at all, but I'd recommend a 275/35 out back. with the 245/40 up front.
The offset will determine if you need to roll your fenders. A +22 with those widths will not require a roll but for anything lower in offset i would recommend rolling them.
KW and JIC are both fantastic coils but a little on the expensive side for daily driving. If you have the cash definitely go for the KW V3s, but if you don't want to drop 2k on coils then look into BC racing, Stance or HSD. All quality coils from $800-$1500.

these say they are for 350z's and G35's 2003 and newer - for almost 1200 bucks.
What is the difference between these? they even appear to have the same part number, ST-Z33-GR+ Is there something I dont get here? I dont want to spend 200 bucks more if I dont have to.
thanks.
