Need help on figuring out current offset
so i bought a set of 12+22 that came with 4.5 inch outer lips. I rebarreled the outer lips to 2.5 inch lips. Now they are 10 but im not sure what offset they are at now. Do they remain at +22?

hey guys, i am going to get my front fenders pinched flat and have a question. The place i called (UMS Tuning) said that their rolling tool cannot pinch it flat. Is there something specific i should be asking for? Was he correct in saying that an eastwood fender roller will not be able to do this?
here is the pic of the roller they use

I want to get some new wheels for my 2004 g35 coupe with brembos and to be lowered on megan coils.
Not sure how much I will be lowering, depends on tire size.
I was thinking about running staggered 20x9 fronts and 20x10.5 rears with 20/25 offsets. Can you confirm that I wouldn't need spacers to look flush?
My car is a daily driver.
As a daily driver, what affordable tires and tire size would you recommend? Also, how much a drop would I be able to attain without sacrificing too much for daily driving conditions? I don't want to have problems with rubbing and don't want to go stretched.
Would I need to roll my fenders? Would I need to get a front or rear camber/toe kit to have proper alignment so I don't go through my tires?
Thanks!

Ok so i need some serious help here..i have a 2004 G35 coupe, brembo's. about a year and a half ago, i bought 20" axis super penta rims, 20x10 and 20x9 (and if i could do it again, i wouldn't do 20's) i would seriously want to lower my car, but i know nothing about lowering, camber, etc. i dont want it slammed, but i dont want just a little drop. maybe a happy medium if that's possible. i was looking at the eibach prokit for the z (apparently it drops the g coupe more) and i also looked at the stance GR+ coilovers. i guess i would need a camber kit, but once again i'm lost as to how it works (my expertise in g's and z's is in the motor department
) i will post pictures of my car & wheels & wheel gaps when i get home today, i'm in school at the moment. Any suggestions/pictures/professional advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks everybody.

I assumed when I got my alignment I would be getting more positive camber than what I have now running natural. Is that wrong? I was basically rubbing with the 270/30 tires which I loved the look of (tires to fender), but I want the wheels out a bit more ( closer to flush with the fenders). Doesnt seem like I have nearly enough stretch to pull off the look I want since I only have about 7mm space now. So to need a 20mm spacer I would need quite a bit more negative camber?
Now I have no idea what you're asking. ignore more spacer suggestion and go off how much camber you want to run, the offset is irrelevant if it looks the way you want it to.
I was going to go to Firestone and take advantage of their lifetime alignment since I may play with the height a bit still. Would I be better off going to a place that deals with tuner cars more or is it really just getting lucky and getting a decent mechanic either place that I can befriend? Do they generally check what you have current, tell you, and go from there.. because I have no idea what my current camber is or what degree I want...
99% of shops throw it on the rack and align it to zero or as close to zero as possible and that's what charged for the $80 alignment type thing. You're going to be hard pressed to find a shop willing to take this on without you knowing what you want. It is very unlikely they will allow in the shop and adjust the camber by tenths of degrees until the wheels sit where you want them to. You need to find a local custom shop that has dealt with extensive suspension builds and knows offsets. Look around for shops that install air ride and start your search there.

IMO, a camber kit is not needed for a 2" drop. But that's your call if you want to go through tires or not.
Hey man i'm ordering some 19x8 rims. they didn't have 8.5's
I got a 03 sedan lowered 1.5 inches. I'm trying to figure out what spacers i would need and what tire size you would recommend, same tire size also all around? i'm not doing staggered rims for rotational purposes. I'd really appreciate your input i'm not very knowledgeable on wheels.

Not willing to roll the fenders:
20mm up front 20mm out back.
hi, i have a tire fitment question i wanna ask fellow g members here. i have a 2003 sport g sedan with 18in coupe rims. i am wondering if i can put 255 in the rear without any modification? if so which size is better?255/45/18 or 255/40/18? i am also debating if i should put 245 in the back instead???
thanks
Harry

thanks
Harry
Personally I wouldn't do a 255, it's an 8" wheel and really shouldn't handle more than 245. But 255/40 would be the better of your two picks.
No, they change 12mm for every inch changed. So a total of 24mm in offset change, since you made these smaller, you have increased the offset. They are now 10 +46

They might be confused by your choice of words, but that tool can absolutely roll the fenders 100% flat. I use the same roller

2. Hankook V12s and 255/35 and 275/35
3. 2" or less will be ok for daily driving.
4. I recommend rolling the fenders no matter what, if you like the lush look you NEED to roll the fenders.
5. Camber kits are up to you, if you're worried about tire wear, then yes you'll need camber kits.

You really need to decide if you want to do coils or springs as there is about an $800 difference between the two.
BC racing coils can be had for about $800 shipped and work great for daily driving. You don't ever NEED camber kits, but they are recommended. If you don't go lower than an inch then I wouldn't buy a camber kit, if you go over 2" then I wouldn't recommend at least a rear camber kit and toe bolts.
First off I have a 2005 G35x awd Sedan no modifications. I have two 18x10 +25mm Offset rims to run in the rear and two 18x8.5 +25mm rims to run on the front. What size tires should I run on both to not affect my VDC/AWD ? Will I run into any fitment issues on stock suspension and non brembo brakes.
Hey 4DGS, I'm currently on my way to install Bc coilovers, rear camber kit w/toe bolts. I need advice on what to tell the alignment shop to do.
I have a set of sevas s55 20x8.5 front 20x10 rear offset +25 I believe. Tire sizes are 245/35/20 fronts 275/30/20 rears.
I pretty much know I have to roll the rear fenders. And I would need to run some negative camber in the rear.
Question I have for you is what do I tell a shop when I go for alignment? All I know is that I need -3 or more camber for the rear...Or should the shop already know what to do because all I've told shops that I've called is that I need to run -3 camber or more. Not many shops out here are familiar with alignments like that.
If you can help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

After telling them you need -3 degrees of camber, tell them to zero the TOE in the rear.
You need to have your fenders rolled before doing this.
Yes, tell them to align it to -3 degrees. The car SHOULD naturally gain this much camber from dropping it 2-3 inches. But having the adjustable arms makes it much easier.

Thanks 4GDS now I can get everything installed and dialed in confidently lol. And what about the front? Just oem spec?
Please help meeeeee!!!
I have a 2004 infiniti g35 coupe (no brembo) and I wanna put staggered 22" wheels on it ...(22 x 8.5 on front and 22 x 10 on back) or even wider if possible but I don't want any modifications done to my car and I don't want my wheels/tires to stick out past the fenders..I want a flushed look between the fenders and the tires...I also want the deep lip effect of the wheel, so I'm kinda lost as far as knowing what offset to ask for when I order them. Any suggestions? And yes I wanna keep the size 22" in mind because I already have 20" on the car right now...thanks for ur incoming suggestions
