Thanks 4DGS! would you reccomend running 10 on the F and R? Also how much rubber (what size tire) do you think I'll be able to fit in there on a 20in rim? Thanks again buddy!!

ok I am ready to buy my wheel but I have one last question.
so previously I aks you for tire size to go on 20x10 all around and you suggest me 245/40r20(post #2671)
but what it confuse me is when I take a tire calculator like this :
http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalcold.html

it said to stay within 3% of the stock size for the rear its ok
245/45r18 to 245/40r20 = 3.9%
but for the front
225/45r18 to 245/40r20 it said 6.7%???????
so how the width of the tire can affect the speed that much...it is not suppose to be the same thing than the rear??? its the same hight??
because if I put a 225/35r20 it should be perfect but I dont want that much of strech on a 20x10 rim
I already drive slower because I have a US car in Canada so I don't really want to go even slower that much lol
Thanks

The no spacers are required. 8.5 +15 is pretty flush and you'll actually want to roll the rear fenders.

Running 10" all the way around is no problem at all, you just need to watch the clearance on the front strut.

How low do you plan to go (if at all) are you for or against negative camber? For or against stretching tires?

OEM rear tires are actually 245/40/19

If you don't want to stretch then go to a 245/30 it's basically the exact same overall size as the 225/35.

Sorry I don't recall the original question...

Looking for rims and I like these http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...3&autoModClar=

I'll probably be getting the 18's....Is their any others wheels that look similar to these?
If I got these should I get the Gunmetal or silver. I drive a 03 g35 sedan silver.

I don't know much about tires and wheels, but I think this style would look nice.

What size wheels and tires should I get? The car is not lowered and don't plan on that any time soon.

Not lowering at all buddy, I'm shooting to keep camber within factory specs...stretching isnt out of the question!

My current setup is 19x8.5 +30 and 19x10 +40 and I'm lowered a bit. I have 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. I like the setup, feel like I could use a spacer in the rear though. Suggestions? Also, I would like a little more sidewall for ride comfort. Again, suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Anybody know where I can find the torque spec for Volk wheels? I'm thinking about getting my GT-M's redone this week. I did some searching and found a few threads with only a few responses but no definite answers.

Lots of options out there, I'd look into forgestar for the best value and quality of wheel.

Aim for the specs to be in or around 18x8.5 +25 and 18x9.5 +35

If you're unsure of any wheel brands or whether or not something will fit, just come back to this thread and post up, I'm always around to help.

You have provided nothing of use to him, don't give advice in this thread.

If you don't plan to lower it then stretching is out of the question. Too many questions have been asked though I can't recall if you had a coupe or sedan? If you could make it easy for me and just lay out the questions and give me all the info in one go I will do the same in return lol

Spacers are pretty solid, Z1 is a pretty good company.

However I can't answer your question. Are you looking for the offset that would look good with those widths? if so, please quote both of our questions.

Coupe or sedan?

if you have room for a spacer feel free to throw one on, without knowing coupe or sedan or suspension specs I can't recommend a size though.

As for the tires, you really should be running a 245/40 up front anyways. The rear is a good size but if you up the front sidewall they will actually match in overall diameter.

Do you plan to do it yourself?

Torque specs change quite often, depenings on the alloys used and the type of hardware.

Volk only ever wants to release the info of brand new hardware torque specs, since you most likely will reuse the old hardware I would recommend backing it off a little.

Rays suggests 45-50ft/lbs. This is substantially higher than all other wheel manufactures. When I did my CCWs I did 15ft/lbs then 35ft/lbs. Remember you need to cross torque these, then cross torque them again at the final torque spec.

To be safe I would do 20ft/lbs and then 40ft/lbs.

Are the fenders rolled? with totally rolled fenders you should be fine fitting a 10mm spacer in the back and 10 in the front is probably not an issue.

Our bolt pattern is 5x114.3, so those wouldn't fit.
