Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
Hi Guys!
I am looking to buy new wheels to replace my OEM 18inch and I really like the Roderick RW-6 in 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear with 20 offset all around.but I would like to know if I can put 20x10 all around without major rubbing because I don't like the look of the 8.5 up front, and maybe later put some 5mm spacer to be more flush and will they clear Brembo?and what kind(brand and size) of tire would you recommend for me?
Thanks

Yea you can run 10s all the way around with a +20
Can you or have you already rolled the rear fenders? Do you want to stagger the tires? (different size front to back)
Whether they clear brakes is a question for the manufacture as there is now way to tell with just widths and offsets.

hey guys, i just bought a set of axis hiro from a guy who had them on a 350z...they're 19x8.5/9.5 going on a sedan...i'm already running that same size set up, but with different offsets...problem is, i can't seem to find the offsets for them (on the new ones)...i'm pretty sure the fronts are where it says ET 20, but on the rear it says ET _ blank square....anyone with any knowledge on this? here's a pic for ref...from what i've seen on websites, they only seem to offer the 9.5 in either +25 or +45, but that's what i've found not sure if other offsets are available

I don't really understand your need to stretch since the car is barely lowered.
The 8.5 +8 is equal to a 10.5 +26 so 4mm more aggressive on the new wheel. I would keep the tires the same and do the 255/35 as well or else it's going to look stupid. With that stretch and pulling the screws out of the fender liner you should be fine with a 10mm spacer. Given I have no idea what camber I still doubt the 10.5 up front would rub strut with little to no camber coming from the H tech drop.[/QUOTE]
well i guess with my suspension im barely lowered...buuuut idk what might be differ between my car and others, but man i barely fit a finger between the tire and fender, in the front or rear for that matter...maybe being that i pretty much cut almost the entire rear spring mount off..
......anyhow i stretched since the rear tire and rim stick out a decent amount in my opinion honestly...even in my driveway right in front of my garage i have a small incline and whn i park there my rear tire goes into the fender......im not mad aggressive in the rear, but im def out....but again..this was my first attempt at bein aggresive, so i thought single digit offsets would be good with my spring setup, tire sizes, fenders rolled, etc. soooo....if i run this rim up front def the same size tire,,okok im good with that as for the spacer 10 mm....dammm was trying to stay away from spacers...was hoping to be able to get away with a 3 or 5mm....regarding camber in the front i just checked and from my alignment in oct, im -1.9 in the front and -1.5 in the rear...does that help boss?!?!?
seriously thanks for the info man....cuz i kinda want to go for a big change, but before i drop money want to know my limits,,,,thanks again man,,,

I'm going to guess since the front is the +20 that the rear is the +25. If you can test fit them on your car I can tell you for sure. But my money is on +25

The offsets are good and the reason it is poking out so much is definitely the lack of camber (from the small drop)
Nothing wrong with running a 10-20mm spacer it's the big 40mm spacers that you want to stay away from.
This is 19x10 +6 with a 245/35 with a similar drop to yours.

The reason the car is tucking the rear is because the springs are pretty soft. Switching to adjustable coilovers will give you a little more control over this (not to mention height adjustability)
Hopefully that covers your questions?
cool...so i should be ok with the 10.5 in the front, regarding my drop and specs.....cool....and i can even run a 10mm spacer making it a +12 offset 20x10.5....that should look alot like the 19x10 +6 offset you have in the pic....good, thank you very much 4dgs

and do you guy still run the inner fender without rubbing?and will it affect VDC?
edit:I just ask the seller if it clear Brembo brake and he said 20x10 in rear it will clear ....but for the front 20x8.5 clear but he is not sure for 20x10 so what do you think?
Thanks!

Well you DO have some room for a spacer if they don't clear the brembos but the rears are really small so everything clear them, the fronts are a little tougher to clear.
As for fender liner you will be fine with that and the drop.
You could run a 245/40 all around if you wanted to stay as close to OEM spec as possible but a 255/35 would also work and shouldn't screw up your VDC.
This is 245/40 on a 10 just to give you an idea.

And this is 255/35

Is you're stretching and if you still have natural camber you should be able to run about a 15 or 20mm spacer in the rear and a 15mm or so in the front without any issues. That would give you enough brake clearance, but you might need to go lower so the camber can pull the wheel in a little. See the white coupe above as that +6 on a 10 in the front.

Alrighty my turn,
I 'm trying to sort out my options for an upcoming wheel purchase, my dream rim at the moment are Gram Lights 57D (in white, no neon), but I'm having a hell of a time sorting out if these are even a feasible option for my goals.
My car is an 05 coupe, dropped on Swift springs, ~1" front ~.5" back, no spring mount mod.
The Gram Lights come in 18x9.5 with either +12 or +22 offsets (ignoring the +38), I've used online wheel size calculators and haven't been able to sort out in my minds eye how these would sit.
I currently run within factory camber specs, and would like to keep it this way. Not a fan of poke or hellaflush. I know a lot of this comes back to tire sizes as well, and I'd like to maintain stock diameters without stretching if it can be helped.
So I suppose what I'm asking is what combination of offsets would I need to run on these rims to get them to set "regular" flush with the profile of the car? And are my hopes of keeping a standard looking sidewall still possible?
Thanks for any help!

You're wanting to run 9.5 Square I'm assuming? Have you rolled your fenders?
I'd recommend the +22 up front and +12 in the rear. Tires I'd probably do 255/40 or 265/40.

I haven't rolled, I take it this would be necessary in order to run this setup?
18x10 -2 is the same offset as
11 +10
12 +22
I'm assuming you just messed up the integer on that one because the 12" was right haha.
The 57s not come wider? You could easily fit a 10.5 out back... Like with the 9.5 setup, you're gonna have room for a 10mm spacer (with roll)
