Personally I would not go to the 35 (this come from someone who ran 18s this past summer with 40s and 35s)
I ran 18x10 18x11 225/40 and 255/35. The tires were way to small and a straight up bitch to get them to look how I wanted. The 40 sidewall gives JUST enough meat on the tires to make it not mess with VDC too much and not make the overall diameter too much.
I'd do the 40 sidewalls for sure. If you go to 19s then 35s are the way to go.
Cool man. Good to know all the advice comes from personal experience of someone with a sick stance. My gut choice was the 40's to begin with, just wasnt too sure. Figured it couldn't hurt to ask Originally Posted by 4DGS

No problem man, talking with tire shops they don't always give the most honest opinion.Originally Posted by CheeWho?

Here's a list of tires that run large, if you can get me a good photo of the Extensas I can maybe offer you something that stretches in the same manner.
* Continental Contisport
* BF Goodrich g-Force KDW
* General UHP
* Bridgestone S03
* Kumho SPT
* Federal ss595
* Pirelli P-Zero Line
* Goodyear F1 Line
* Falken FK452
* Cooper Zeon 2XS
* Kumho Ecsta Supra 712
* Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta
* Proxes T1R
* Wanli S-1099
* Nitto Invo
* Wanli S-1088
* Marshall Power Racer
* Kumho Ecsta AST
As for where to get them, I'm not the guy to ask as I live in Canada. BUT tirerack and discount tires direct are pretty reasonable in the states.

I'm planning on getting new wheels in the near future and I'm going to go with 19's. My question(s) would be assuming the width of the rim is 8.5 to 9.5 what is the lowest offset i could run before any additional work needs to be done? The car is conservatively lowered on Prokit springs and 350z revised shocks.

Trying to avoid rolling the fenders?
The fronts you're going to be good with pretty much anything around +10 to +20 assuming 8.5" width.
The rears you are good up to +10 assuming 9.5" rear width.

It's not so much the offsets you need to get the grasp of, it's the car. You could understand offsets and not know what the car can really handle in terms of widths and offsets.
You can definitely run a more aggressive (width wise) than you mentioned. I'd recommend looking for a 10 out back and a 9 up front.
if you see a set of wheels and just aren't sure if they would work just post the full specs in this thread and I'll get back to you with some answers asap!

okok...part one of offset questions for me guys. This is my situation...i may be purchasing some 20*10.5 wide wheels with a +22 offset. My car is currently running a 20*8.5 with a +33 offset with a 25mm spacer, thus making me basically at a 20*8.5 +8 up front right?!?! Well if i choose to run these 20*10.5 wheels up front, that are +22 offset, what size spacer will i possible need to not hit the strut tower, if i need one at all?!?!? I will most likey be running a 245/35/20 tire up front...or if i can fit a 255/35/20 i would like to run them all around. The car is lowered via tein h-tech springs with rear spring mount mod. Rear fenders are already rolled since i currently have 10.5* wide rears with a +5 offset...i basically just need help with the front....THKS GUYS

Is the rear stretched and do you plan go more aggressive in the rear?
The front is 4mm less aggressive than your 10.5 +22 so you have some room to move.
Most pics of ther current set up if you can.

so assuming i go with a 19x9 in front and a 19x10 in the rear for tires im curious as to options for size. I dont want to stretch the tire so for the front i would probably want to run a 245/40 and the rear most likely a 275/40?

if your meaning me...yeah my current set up is stretched in the back, and if i do get these new wheels, yes i plan on goin more aggresive. Being that im on a 20*10.5 with a 5+ offset, now i plan on using the same tire i have 255/35/20, and puttin that on the new 20*10.5 with the 22+ offset while leaving my 25mm spacer, which will make my back go to a -3. im fine with that.....its the front that im having issues with. If i put a 20*10.5 with a 22+ offset, what size spacer, if any, will i have to use to not rub on the inside of the rim?!!?! Plus what tires size options do i have?? And are you saying that my current 20*8.5 8+ offset is 4mm less aggressive than the proposed 20*10.5 +22, even before any spacer?!?!
As for pics of my current set up, they can be found right now at the private FS forum for 20inch wheels...being that im trying to sell them.

245/40 and 275/35 would be a better option, that way they will stay the same overall diameter.Originally Posted by DR.D69

I don't really understand your need to stretch since the car is barely lowered.Originally Posted by leoverte

The 8.5 +8 is equal to a 10.5 +26 so 4mm more aggressive on the new wheel. I would keep the tires the same and do the 255/35 as well or else it's going to look stupid. With that stretch and pulling the screws out of the fender liner you should be fine with a 10mm spacer. Given I have no idea what camber I still doubt the 10.5 up front would rub strut with little to no camber coming from the H tech drop.
