The 245 is closer to the rear diameter and these cars have enough oversteer as is. the 235 would be fine, but if you're buying NT05s, sounds like you drive the car pretty hard so I'd go with the larger front.
Just before you buy those though... They can not be driven in the rain, I've had Nt05s before and you'll hydro going like 30mph. Terrible wet grip.

Thanks tPc303. I just ordered them from discount tire. Went with a 245/45/18. And 285/40/18. The rims I bought from a friend in Houston. Was fitted on an s2000. Thought I could fit them on my asm widebody but too wide. So I put them on my 240sr20det. But I just sold it but kept the wheels. So i swapped rims from the g to the 240. Now I need tires. They are stretched. But don't want to lower the car. It's my daily driver.

Question: I am currently dropped on coils and had 245/45 rear and 225/45 fronts but recently changed to 245/40 all around. My question is, since the alignment was done on 45 series, is another alignment required if I went to 40 series? I had a little over negative 2 camber in the rear and believe the new setup will only have a negative camber around 1ish.
thanks in advance

Ok here is my question going with a 20x9 and 20x11 on the wheels. Normally guys running 9.5 and 10.5 widths are using 225/35 and 255/35. Should I drop to a 225/30 for the front if I run a 255/35 rear to look even? Keep in mind my widths will be 9 front and 11 rear. On a side note I have even seem some run a 10 up front with a 225/30 and a 11 rear with a 265/30. Also I know some tires run larger then others for the same size. I am looking for a semi quiet tire. I have had Falkens and Michelins and both are loud as hell on my car. Thanks in advance just want to make sure I get it right the first time.
Offsets are 15 f/r currently rolling on stock 18s with 225/40 and 245/40 sitting on Eibachs for a Z.

Do you mean 225/40 and 255/35? those would be almost the same diamter, the 225/30 would be 1.3 inches shorter than the 255/35.

No I meant the 30s...I looked on rimtuck for referrence granted it is probably not the best source but it offers pics to visually try and compare the different sizes. What do you recommend for sizes with 9 and 11 widths. I have no fear of rolling fenders or pulling them the car rarely gets driven as is. I do like the look of the 255/35 in the rear on 11s would like the fronts to match with the rear stretch.

Well the front 225/30 is about 25.3" tall and the rear 255/35 is about 27" tall (I was wrong, the rear would be almost 1 3/4" larger than the front). Unless you are really low and have some low/agressive offsets,
I would do a 245/35/20 front and 285/30/20 rear.

You should have no problem putting 245 on 9.5 and 255 on 10.5. I daily drive my car and I have 245 on 9.5, is not that much of a stretch, but then again the tire brands is different some do stretch better than others, but you should be more than fine you can even stretch the front more 235 on 9.5. I wish I would of done that since I am currently rubbing up front. I guess it also depends on how low you go.
