Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
More then likely...I rarely drive the car as it is. I can not justify dropping big coin on wheels for the price you really can't go wrong if they ever get the rears out to the public.
I've read around that Hankook tires are an overall great tire, but with a mushy sidewall. If I want to keep a decent turning "feel", should I get these tires in sizes where the sidewall is smaller or larger? Or does it not matter? I was planning on getting 255/35/19 and 285/35/19, but now I'm worried about the sidewall being too big and leaving me with a sloppy turning feel. Can anyone clarify this for me, with mushy sidewalls and the size of the sidewall affecting the feel?
which tires are generally better for stretching??
looking for a minimal stretch
235/35/19 on 9.5
255/35/19 on 10.5
going to be running -3 offset all around.. would i have any trouble with this setup?? my rear fenders are already rolled fyi..

That would be a bit tall looking wouldn't? Again I am only going by the pics I see on the Rimtuck site. Visually I like a bit more stretch also I am guess the Hancook tires will probably be the quite tire from them all? When the car does come out its 99% hwy driving any road noise drives me nutz.

Are you trying to stretch for a purpose or for the "look"
what about the brand?? thinking of using toyo proxes 4.. or is there another brand that would better??
or better question is which brand is better for stretching and best bang for the bucks.. lol

I would have to say for the look I don't do anything other then occasionally drive the car.

Well thanks for the info never said I wanted a unsafe stretch. The car rarely gets driven so if I go a bit on the unconventional side I guess that is wrong? Regardless I appreciate the info and I will just figure it out.
Na I just don't see the point to stretch tires unless you're doing it to clear fenders. That's why people stretch, so the wheels can be outside the fender and the tire can stay inside the fender.
Well I thought that was a given since in previous posts I did mention I would lay it on the pavement and the 20x11 rears I would have thought had been another hint. Regardless no harm no fault! My original post was due to the odd widths. I see the majority go with 9.5 and 10.5. Being these are 9 and 11 I was more curious to know if the .5 difference would be minimal in tire selection to get the stretch I wanted. I still learned a lot either way.
