1. what kind of suspension are you getting?

2. how much do you plan on lowering your G?

3. do you have AWD?

i have privat akzents on mine right now...

18x8.5+35 all around. on 245/40/18 Nitto NT555 Extremes. Take a look at my garage i have pics posted on my stance.

sits sorta flush, but i have both front and rear camber kits.

225/40 is not going to look good, will not ill wheel well... you'll need bigger wheels.

Id suggest 245/40 at least in the front and 255 or 265/40 in the rear... (what i would do if i wasn't AWD)

if i knew what i know now i would of when with 18x9.5 all around... but thats the past..

converting my car to HELLA FLUSH category thanks to all the G sedan veterans..........

GOOD LUCK!

dang thanks man that helps me out a lot!!!

1. what kind of suspension are you getting?
Im not really sure on my suspension yet I just know for sure that I'm getting sport coil overs

2. how much do you plan on lowering your G?
as much as I can lower it and still be a daily driver

3. do you have AWD?
no i have an 04 g35 coupe

and so you think I should go with the 18x9.5 all around??
with 245 on the front and maybe 265 on the back?

Coupe here, wanting to run 18x10.5 +20 offset.
Trying to understand what tire sizes to run that wont throw vdc off. Can I do 245/40 and 255/40?

Yes. That's no problem. Only 1.2% difference.

edit: blain, do you happen to have any pics of how ns-II's stretch? the google image search didn't give me any useful angles nor the sizes/widths we run. feel free to PM me if you want - I know you don't like doing that much, but it might keep clutter out of here.

Toyo I believe run truer than hankooks. T1Rs or something may be your best bet.

This is really too small for the coupe, look for something wider like 18x9.5 for the front and 18x10.5 in the rear. Offsets should be around +15 or +20

What is the offset on the 9.5" wheel? still +35? if so look for something else.

Yes, but do you need to stretch the tire? If you're planning to run that tire you'll want to run spacers so it doesn't look silly.

What exactly are you looking for, they run small that is for sure.

I've had 255/35 on 11s 235/35 on 10, 255/35 on 11.5, 225/35 on 10 and 245/35 on 11. Have photos of them all somewhere if there's one you want me to send you!

The 235/255 on 10/11 is what I'd like. That would be the closest to me running the 225/245 on 9.5/10.5.

Mind if I ask why you are choosing that brand of tires? Good for stretch/longevity/price?

My current front set up is 235/35 on 10 and the 255/35 is what I had on the back of my CCWs. Let me try and find some photos for you.

They're really cheap. Because they're cheaper, it's a lower quality rubber, and thus, great for stretching. However, due to a lower quality rubber, they don't last as long - softer. I've read they have incredible grip in both dry and wet conditions. Me gusta.

They actually last forever, I burn through potenzas twice as fast as my nankangs.

And they're actually terrible in the rain, I don't know why all the reviews say they have good wet traction lol
