On the right path here but you're also wrong, running negative camber DEFINITELY decreases tire life. Just as much and a tire being out of round, under or over inflated or slightly toed. Tire life can be maintained by zeroing the toe, but you're definitely still going to go through a set at -10 100x faster than a car within OEM spec.

I'm a AWD sedan, currently running 18x8.5 +33 all around with 235/45F and 265/40R. Coils have me at one finger gap space. I just got the rears rolled because i was rubbing with 265's. Currently camber is set at -2.6 fronts and -1.5 rears. Will get front camber arms shortly.

In terms of spacers i know i can push this out some more. I wanted to get -2.0 camber all around but no idea if 25mm spacer would be too much. I was leaning towards a 10-15mm.

Ok so if i do -3.5 deg camber and have correct toe settings and drive carefully i'll still be able to get decent tire life if i'm understanding this correctly. It's okay i have to drive slow when lowered in Edmonton roads anyways . Lol.

Thanks for your help drewdrew and 4DGS

Why not just wait and see then measure and buy spacers?

Decent, sure! lol

But you don't have to baby it, I drive aggressively with -4.5 up front and -6 out back.

I realized this after I posted. I remember back when I saw a picture of a tire that had ran over -10* and said it only lasted a couple months. There is def a point when tire life decreases exponentially. Thanks.

^^that will look clean enough without a drop...you will not need to roll fenders for those offsets but it all depends on what look you are going for?? guessing you wanna run spacers?

I drive my G35 about 3k miles a year. Takes a while before my tires are worn enough to need replacement.

^true....but if you even just get springs it will look decent for what it is but at least a 10mm spacer would be best all around...but then you would need to roll the rears for that

These cars like to eat tires as it is, at -5 degrees out back last year I got 12K kms before I sold the wheels with tires, rear wheels still had a fair bit of tread and could have been flipper left to right fo probably 30K total.

It just reduce the footprint and forces the wear upon somewhere it shouldn't. (the shoulders)
