After a couple of hours of searching, I didn't quite find the answer I was looking for. Hopefully, this is the right place to ask.

If I wanted to put, let's say, 18"s on the front and 19"s on the rear of an 04 Sedan, would that would that go beyond the 3%-6% that I'm reading to keep the VDC and ABS happy?

Going more for sporty, less for fitment. I'm pretty sure this particular thread has answered the rest of my questions about wheels.

Yea as long as your tire sizes are correct you'll be fine. gotta be careful with this though.

A typical set up there would like 245/40/18 up front and a 275/30/19 in the back,

It's easily doable you just need to do your math.

What specs are you aiming for? (widths and offsets)

I'm looking specifically at a set of Enkei RPF1s. I love them and I plan to do some Autcross and track days, anyways. I don't really care if they're flush. Not looking for stretch. In fact, I would imagine I only need 6mm of extra tire per side to fit 8" tires in front and 10" tires in the rear. I actually found them on Tire Rack and these spec are what's listed for the ones I was looking at. I was really more interested in the diameter. I was also browsing around the site to see if there are any tuners that do tire size calibration so I can run a bit more sidewall.

Specs are as follows
FRONT:
18X7.5" +48 6.10" Backspace
REAR:
19X9.5 +42 7.01" Backspace

I'd recommend going with the 8.5 up front, helps with the oversteer these cars have and easier to match tires.

Use this to figure out what sizes will work best.

Tire rack didn't have the 8.5s up front but I imagine i could get the from the Assault Tech vendor I found while I was searching. Thanks for the help. I can say, this forum does seem to be well structured. I like it, so far. Nice G, BTW. The one slammered pic a few pages back shows one sexy ride. Good job.

Not a problem. If you don't mind, I'm gonna swipe that pic and keep it for my desktop background at work until mine gets here. And I really hope there are a couple detailing threads running around.

haha, feel free. also check out the aggressive sedan thread stickied in the sedan media share. Just posted some new shots from a recent feature.

And we've got some sick detailers that are regulars on here and can get you through pretty much anything.

just bought some cheap azz XXRs for my S14. should i go for a 215/35 or 225?

The wheel is 17x9.75z

I can barely find tires in 215/35 or 225/35.

Yea 35 series in 17s aren't easy.

I'd go 225 personally.
