Gonna bust a noob and ask this... I've heard 19x8.5,9.5 is good for performance and 19x9.5, 10.5 is good for looks. What about 19x8.5 +23, 10.5 +24 . Might pull the trigger on some volks and just wanna get some more info. My first time dealing with non stock-ish wheels.

Also looking to use 245/45 on the front and 275/40 on the back. Would those be ok on my my stock fenders? Ill be dealing with a drop later. Im on F&F Type II but getting ready to sell them

Fit well? Any problem with those widths? More importantly in the front? Will have nataural camber/fender roll in rear/stretched tires. Anything else needed?

Thanks, great thread!
Nope. It'll fit great. No worries about the front. You'll need -2.1* in the front, -2.5* in the rear - just so there's no surprises. I would run 235/255 because of easier tire sizes [as opposed to 245/35 and 265/35(not a real popular size) or 275/30, etc). I think Blain prefers running the same sidewall ratios as well because it keeps the stretch the same.

You mentioned natural camber...are you not planning to run camber arms at all?

I didn't want to if I didn't have to- wanted to pull it off with natural camber and maybe some toe bolts as it's my DD. Not possible with roll and maybe some pull? Or would it look stupid without the camber...

Thanks again!

Well, how much did you want to lower? Each inch will provide -1.5* camber. So, it won't look as flush as you might want - for example, drop it 2", which relatively isn't much at all, and your wheel lip will already be on the closer side of "inside" your fender at about -3* camber.

I would get camber kits - and since I'm not the greatest with perfect offsets and natural camber, I'll let Blain handle that one.

The front is weird on these cars, people like to go wider up front because these cars are bad for understeer. Running wider widths reduce that a little.

Those will be fine though as for the tires you'll want something smaller.

Probably 245/40 and 275/35 or 245/35 and 275/30.

These will bolt on just fine without issues. Spacers you can add, but that's your decision and they are not necessary to make the wheels work.

Easy way around that is drop two tread widths, 225/35 and 245/30 stretch very similar.

Sorry, I'll repost my question. I don't want to confuse anyone who's either read my question and didnt know i had a sedan, or for those with similar questions as mine:

2005 G35 Sedan
20x8.5 +40 up front, 20x9.5 +45 out back. Tire sizes are 245/35/20, 255/35/20. I have two sets of spacers: 20mm and 25mm NOT installed. I haven't installed them because I'm lazy to install my camber kit. But I Finally got around to installing rear camber arms, toe bolts and A-arms out front. If I plan on running the spacers, which set should I install where, and at what camber settings? Or would I be better off simply running 20mm spacers all around, thereby giving my wheels a new offset of +20 and +25?

The front can handle pretty much anything you throw at it as long as you're decently low. So I'd put the 25mm up front.

The rear can handle the 20 or even a 25mm with a good roll and a about 3 degrees of negative camber.

I'd say just test fit and see where they sit, you have them in hand so it's not a big deal. The amount of camber and the way they fit is really up to you and you're not going to have any issues MAKING them fit.

If you don't like poke then you need new wheels. These are pretty aggressive to get into, especially if you're not a fan of the aggressive look.

This is 5mm more aggressive, but with around -3.5 degrees, a minor pull and 235/35

If that is more aggressize that the 19x10.5 +24 I will be fine. If I run a 245 series tire like you said previoulsy I think it will be exactly what I am looking for. I am a fan of aggressive Just didnt want so much poke and stretch that it loses practicality I drive my car almost everyday especially in the summer. I already run about -3 degrees of camber so with a fender roll (like you said) and raising my car up a little the fitment should be what I am looking for. Im gonna try them out.....Thanks for all the info, the help and picture...I'd be clueless without this thread.

OHH then yea you're ok. It's aggressive but it's really just the entrance into aggressive fitment.
