the wheels i want are also available in:

front: 19x8.5 +20 (as opposed to +35)
rear: 19x9.5 +25 (as opposed to +40)

do you think i can handle these offsets with rolled fenders and non-stretched tires? i'm trying to avoid buying spacers if i can. again, my car is a 2005 G35 sedan. thanks again for your time.

Hey I was looking for some advice on what size tires I should look at to go with my new wheels

Work VSXX

19x10.5 +19 in the front
19x12 + 12 in the rear

Not looking to roll the fenders or slamming just yet but really wanted some help on what sizes to look for.

Thanks!

I don't know if will be of any advice but I'm running Work VS-MS, 19x10 +9 in the front, 19x11 +13 in the rear so we have somewhat similar sizes.

I'm running 245/40/19 in the rear and 224/40/19 in the front, have my fenders rolled and I am slammed on BC Racing coilovers, BUT there is a good amount of room left for me to add spacers and/or bigger tires, so I plan on putting the rears on the front and getting 265s in the rear, possibly 275 and pull the rear fender if needed. Hope I could be of some help =/ New to wheels/tires myself, just got my first set of wheels. You say not yet but that means you probably will end up rolling and/or slamming eventually so might as well go with a roll now at least, and get a decent size tire set up

Good luck!

You'll have to go to a smaller tire for this.

225/40 and 255/35 would do the trick. Need to completely roll the fenders flat and run about 2 degrees of negative camber.

If you're not interested in rolling your fenders these wheels aren't going to work for you.

Do you want to stretch or do you want to run full size tires? Are you lowered? Are you running camber? Please god tell me you drive a coupe.

Are you asking what it is? It's basically a metal ratchet strap that you can attach your TPMS sensors too and it will wrap around the circumference of the inner wheel.

Any tire shop should be able to do it without any issues.

sorry what specs are you going for?

I strongly suggest going to an 18" or 19" wheel. 17s are hard to make look good on the sedan.

Looking to run 275 40 20 on a 10.5 wide wheel all around. My question is what modifications will need to be made to the front so they will fit without rubbing..... Any pics would be sweet

Oh I thought you were kidding in the aggressive thread...

That set up is way to big, switch to 18s.

Well have you ever seen a 275/40/20? it's a truck tire. It's 2" larger than stock.

If you don't want to stretch though, i suggest going to a slimmer wheel. 10.5 up front is going to be tough on full size tires without it.

What offset are the wheels you are looking at?

275/30 is what you need to start looking at though. And no, that is NOT a stretch just because the sidewall is small.

Your phone doesn't like you much lol I'm guessing 17x9 +something...

Are 18s out of the question?

Nice clean and easy set up is 18 (or 17 whatever) x9 +30 and 17/18x 10+40

Answer me those and I can give you some guidance

Ahh, that I can't help you with. Try the random question thread, aside form that just call some tire shops that deal with high end cars they usually have the for porsches and what not.

I drive an 04 coupe and plan on being lowered on function/form type II coils. I was interested in stretch tires, but whats the advantage or disadvantage over full size?

Stretched tires allow you to fit wheels that otherwise would not fit the car. It's literally putting the wrong size tire onto a wide wheel and forcing the tread to be centered AKA creating more outer clearance.

Have you already purchased the VSXXs?

"I would like to start out by saying I'm new to this forum. There is ALOT of really good information here and I've done quite a bit of searching before becoming a member. I would like to know if anyone is running 1.1.2 Varrstoen in 19x11 +15 offset all around on their coupe. Any rubbing issues, fitment, etc.? What tires should i run if I'm looking for a flush stance for both front and rear? I will be getting these in a couple of weeks and I will be running these on megan street coil overs and megan front and rear camber arms. Your input is appreciated! Thanks!" -I posted this originally on "Who's running varrstoens thread"
