Ok I have a set of 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. I already have a pair of 255/40/19 on the rear two, and am considering putting on 225/35/19 on the front two. Can I put a smaller diameter on the fronts? I don't want a fat tire or a really stretched look...what is a good size to match the rear?

Hey guys, about to purchase some new wheels for my g
I was looking at some wheels with these specs.
Size: 18 "x 8"
Bolt Pattern: 5x100 & 114.3
Off Set: +40mm
I was wondering what size offsets for front and back, should i do 25 front 30 back?
Bump
Also not sure about tire size to much. I'd appreciate any help!
I know theyre nothing fancy. but much better then stock 17's i have. :]

Hello all,
So I have a question about buying new wheels.
I'm planning to get Varrstoen ES 2.2.2s for my 05 Coupe and was wondering what's a better offset which leans more towards performance, +12 or +22
Note: I will be dropping the G with BC coils, probably finger gap in the front and finger and a half in the rear.
19x9.5 front +12 or +22 [245/35 hankook Ventus v12]
19x10.5 rear +12 or +22 [275/35 hankook Ventus v12]
Please advice, and thank in advance.

Hey guys,
Does anyone know if the ipl rims will fit on an '05 g35 coupe without modification? I did as much research as possible and the OEM sport rims (Rays) I have on are 19x8 +30mm offset front and 19x8.5 rear +33mm offset. The IPL rims are 19x8.5 +43mm offset front and 19x9 +45mm offset rear.
My only concern is the front set of rims. I've ran 20" rims that are 20x8.5 +35mm front and 20x10 +40mm rear (10"+1.57"=11.57"). With the 20" rims on the back I know the width is larger than 19x9 +45mm (9"+1.77=10.77"). But the front is a different case 20x8.5 +35mm front (8.5"+1.38"=9.88") and 19x8.5 +43mm front (8.5"+1.69"=10.19"). So the IPL rims are still roughly .30" extended towards the fender. My front fenders are also rolled so I have a little more lee-way but I'm not sure how much. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks a lot man, ya I was also leaning towards the +22. +12 seems to be more for show and flush looks.

Also, would I need fender rolling? Or camber kit?

You would need a camber kit if you plan on lowering your car as it would alter the alignment.
And from the width of the wheels plus the +22 offset......seems like you're trying to find out the same answer as me. With that setup you're going for, you would definitely need to roll the fenders. The wheels might extend past the fender, but if you're looking for the "wide wheel" look then you're fine. I'm trying to stay inside the fender because I live in the Northeast and there's too many potholes which could cause a lot of problems.
19x9.5 +22 (9.5"+0.87"=10.37") Your stance is wider than mine so depending on what you're going for you may or may not have a problem.
19x10.5 +22 (10.5"+0.87"=11.37") You'll still be inside the fender. No need to roll the rear fenders.
