Depends in your offsets. My front setup is 19x10 -3 on 225/40 but my fenders have pull. Not sure about the 245/40

Np, I did the 225/40 in front just for the 1/2" or whatever mm I could gain in ground clearance and a 255/35 in the rear on a 19x11 to match the stretch. If you tuck the tire a bit in front you won't notice the taller profile at all

Wheel Fitment question for a 05 G35 sedan non-sport

Wheel set 1 - Nismo LMGT-4 19s 8.5/9.5 - not sure what the offsets are but I think they are 30/33.
How can I tell the wheels' offsets?
Currently has 245/35 fronts and 275/35 rears, will they fit my G?
Should I expect some rubbing?
Will I have to roll the fenders?
Would I still be able to drop with springs? How much of a drop without rubbing?

Wheel set 2 - Maido GT-5s 19s 9.0/10.5 offsets are 27f/22r.
How can I get these to fit and what tires would be ideal?
Would re-barrell be an option? Any info?
Can I reverse the barrel? Any ideas what the reverse offsets might be?

Just recently picked up the G, need to replace my Z with 4 seats as backup kids hauler...
Now getting the modding bug - wife not happy...

Thanks for your answers in advance....

Help with tire size

Hey guys, couple of questions for you: I just picked up a set of cv-3's 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear. On my old wheels 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear I ran 245/30r20 and 275/35r20. Mild stretch, would these looked over stretched if I ran the same size tire? Don't want it to look goofy. Would I be better off running 255's in the front and 285's in the rear? If so would I have any rubbing issues? '05 g35 coupe not lowered and no aftermarket suspension products. (if I did lower it down the road would I have issues with those sizes?)

If I did go with 255's and 285's what aspect ratio would I run?

Thanks in advance guys

Also any pics with those setups would be great!!!

Would 12 +14 for rears cause any problems? Rolled fenders.

Help? I'm wondering because of the offset. Most guys with >12 have crazy negative offsets

Depending on camber, I'm betting it will hit. My 19x13 -8 with -7 degrees of camber was scraping against the coilover body and it shaved both some of my inner barrel and some of the coilover body. A 12 inch width with similar inset would be 19x12 +4.

+14 effectively moves it in 10mm more, which I think is more than enough to make it hit, regardless of camber.

really depends on what you consider goofy. personally 245 and 275 on your 9 and 10.5 won't look that stretched at all to me, since I have had a 225 on a 10.5

since you aren't lowered you probably shouldn't run into rubbing issues unless you're doing some dukes of hazard jumping or something.

any tuner style lug nuts with a 12x1.25 thread. you can literally pick up a cheap set at autozone and it will work fine.
