I asked about tires for my new wheels weeks ago. LightsOut answered a few posts later saying they would be "Sunken in" and to buy spacers if I was gonna keep them.
I've checked several calcs and DTD and Neal @ Tire Rack all say it will actually stick out.
Essentially. Stock wheels are 18x8 +30 (I had thought this was +33), New ones are 19x8.5 +20
I assume at this point LightsOut was wrong and there have been no other responses. The question still remains about tire sizes and add another questions about adding Tein H tech springs to the mix, any fitment/rubbing issues?

As before I'm still asking for an explanation of why you think it will be sunken in. Offset pushes the wheel 10mm further out than stock. Plus the additional .5" width will push it out another 12-13mm(Or perhaps half of this?) so 22-23mm further out than stock... Why would that look sunken in? Furthermore if I add 15-20mm spacers it will be sticking out nearly 2 inches more than stock. Please explain, If I'm wrong thats fine, I just want to know what is wrong.

most common set up is 9.5F 20R with 10-25 offsets. and they sit flush/semi flush with a fender roll. but even then, with a 22+ offsets some dont even have their fenders rolled. (depending on suspension setup)
your setup on the other hand is way smaller than the most common setups. which means it will be sunken in.

Per Neal at Tire rack: "Lower the offset number the further out the wheel will move. So the new wheels, with the additional width, should sit 3/4" further outboard compared to the oe wheels."
I hope someone can explain it more clearly because your "just know"ing doesn't make sense in my head.

G37 Sport 19's question
I'm putting some new G37 Sport 19's on an 03 Twilight blue G35 Sedan. Should I be concerned with any camber problems or an alignment afterwards? Here are the specs:

I'm sorry, please excuse my lack of knowledge. 0 Camber is a good thing correct? It means perfectly centered? Will I be able to sustain that camber and clearance with the fender no matter how much i lower it?

G35 Coupe with Brembo - Volk GT7 - Offsets - I've done a lot of searching today but haven't been able to determine if these wheels would work on my car with no spacers. I don't want to buy any wheels that would require them. I know a lot of people prefer 19's but I don't mind the 18's because the tires are less pricey.

how low do you plan? Something like Eibach Pro might look okay...
I'm not an offset guru, and am not into the real wide with extreme negative camber look - so it really depends on what you are after... some of the other guys will be able to guide you better if you want an overly aggressive look but the specs of the wheels you mention isnt that far off what your OEM is (as far as wheel track).

no, I should have not used 0 camber as reference... no additional negative camber to OEM specs - OEM does have slight negative camber... you wont need camber adjusters... you will be able to go pretty low, which inherently causes neg camber, but it might not look so good being real low with wheels tucked in that much...
how low do you plan? Something like Eibach Pro might look okay...
I'm not an offset guru, and am not into the real wide with extreme negative camber look - so it really depends on what you are after... some of the other guys will be able to guide you better if you want an overly aggressive look but the specs of the wheels you mention isnt that far off what your OEM is (as far as wheel track).
