How come everyone on here calls the g35 coupe 19's rays but don't call the g37 Sport 19's Enkei's? I had to find that out myself.

I am purchasing AXIS MATRIX 20x9 5x114 +22 offset FRONT with 255-35 falkens; 20x10.5 5x114 35 offset REAR with 285-30 falkens; For an 06cpe.
Wondering how would this set looks and more importantly if it will ever rub?

^far from rubbing, you should have picked a much lower offset in the rear.

You won't rub.

Are you lowered?

not lowered. I would love to lower it, but only to a point where there will be no rubbing what so ever.

How low should i go?

As low as you think you can go!

With that +35 in the rear I don't think you'll be rubbing at any drop. And even then, just roll your fenders.

Honestly, roll your fenders anyways, better safe than sorry.

Yea sure, probably a 10mm-15mm.

Get your fenders rolled anyways.

Deeznuts, yes those should clear Brembos. A disk is the most ideal for brake clearance I am pretty sure, but with that offset I think you'll be fine.

The offset doesn't matter on whether it will clear your brakes. Its the disc type that will tell you. With brembo the front definitely won't clear with C disc. A-disc is Volk/Ray's version of high disc to clear bbk. The rears I know the B disc clears oem brembo, but not sure if C does, I would take a guess that it probably does. If not you can always get a sandwich style spacer for the rear to clear.

^ I can't remember the exact specifics of the discs.

I THINK it goes.
A; Clears any brakes has little lip. (front and rear)
B; Huge lips, clears very little breaks
C; I can't remember for the life of me....

xxr 518 18x8.5--input on rear spacers?

I want to get some xxr 518 wheels, all black, 18x8.5 with 35mm offset for my 2004 g35 (with brembos). Sure I'd like bigger, but this is what I chose to budget for it and my stock-size tires are in good condition still. Staggered would be cool, but not really an option for this wheel unless I go to skinny up front which would prob not fit my oem tires.

I was looking at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-XX...Q5fAccessories

or this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-XX...Q5fAccessories

As these are 8.5 in front/rear, I'm told my oem-sized tires will fit and that a 35mm offset will clear my brembo caliper covers. I love the look of these wheels, and they are cheaper than the other stuff I like.

****Biggest question is, should I/could I put a spacer behind the rear wheels to make it a bit of a wider stance, or would this be stupid?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated, I'll probably buy this within the week!

^I actually considered those same wheels in a 19 with a TA stripe. In the end I decided to go with something less sporty and more classy. But if you're going for a sporty look, I say go ahead.
The 19's would look better, and aren't much more. Tires will be more costly though.

Yeah, red stripe/TA is a bit too much for my preferred look. 19s would be fine but I will ultimately be saving money for a lotus elise down the road--I must get new wheels for my g35 b/c three of my wheels are "etched" and leaking 10lbs/week of air. I'm tired of using my pump, and it would cost almost as much to fix the leaking problem.

So rather than look all badass as a goal, the wheels are practical replacements for stock, and my tires are fine for now.

Any opinion on spacers or not?
