So im looking to buy some STR 601 wheels for my car I want 19x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. I want a flush look with the fender. the only option for offset those wheels have is a 30 for the front and 30 for the rear. just wondering how that would look since I have no knowledge about a wheel set up

That setup will not be flush. The post before you offered some pictures for reference on his setup. You'll want your effective offset (offset including any spacers) to be as close to 0 as possible for the most flush look. In your case I would look at offsets around 10-15 if they offer them, or just run 20-25mm spacers on top of the 30 offset wheels.

Buying new tires

I am buying a new set of tires this weekend and need to know some info: I HAVE searched with no conclusive answer.

I have 245/40/19s on the rear oem 19 rays. I want to move them up front and put 255s on the rear. Im assuming 255/40/19s would be the best option.

Can I run this setup without issues until I wear through my 245/40s and then buy 245/35s which are the closest to oem?

How will this look? will the increased sidewall look bad- better yet does anyone have pics of this exact setup.

In the end

245/40/19 F
255/40/19 R

NOTE: I do have 25mm spacers all round.

Please advise and dont say get 245/35/19s for the front - you will be ignored. I will get them as soon as the 245/40s wear out.

Thanks

Search next time. https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-...-here-477.html

Front will be sunken in, rear will be sticking out.

Please don't use all upper case, yes you can safely and they won't change the handling

Hey guys, i'm in the market for a new set of wheels and tires for my 03 coupe, for next spring, but i'm having trouble with the offsets, fitttments, calipers and sizes.

Let me start from step one. I'm sure many of you have seen this G on this site, so this is the look I will be emulating:

Now from what I know about this particular setup is that the wheels are TSW Vortex 20 inches, 245 in the front, 275 in the rear.

It's lowered on 350z springs and has different calipers. I don't think I will be lowering or swapping the springs because ride quality is numero uno for me, so my question is:

WITHOUT sacrificing ride quality and caliper change, what would be the best size wheel and tire combo to closest achieve this look??

I'm thinking 19's but not sure of the tire size.

Any recommendations or ideas you may have are most welcome.

It will depend on the widths of the wheels. If ride quality is the main goal then the smaller diameter wheel the better, so no bigger than 19s for you. Also, if you plan on sticking with 275 rears you're most likey going to need a 35 profile, which isn't much cushion for you.
Calipers won't really have an impact until you talk about the offset of the wheels. If it's less than +30, calipers won't be an issue.
Post up the specs of the EXACT wheels you want to better judge tires.

I'm guessing by those wheel specs that the brand is XXR...which you should stay away from. Save up a little more money and go for at least a mid grade (forged/alloy) wheel, it will save you in the long run.
I have a set of 18in Rohana RL06s with tires located in the marketplace, staggered set up as well and a step up from XXR. Deploying soon and want to get them out of the garage.

I'm glad you brought this up. I've never been a fan of the "riding on blades" look. I'd actually like to have a good amount of cushion to go along with the wheels, IF possible.

I thought this, but would the gap be very large?

The photos I posted above are probably as low profile as i'd like to go.
