Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
^ You could go for 235/35/19 and 255/35/19. I'm surprised to see that you're running a 40 profile in the rear and 35 profile up front, it's usually the opposite way around.
Changing out the spacers will work too.
Post a pic of the front fitment and possibly a side shot so I can give you a more accurate answer.

Hello,
I own a black 06 g35 coupe 6mt
this is probably a fairly common set up, but i was wondering what offsets, body, and suspension modifications i would have to run with 19X9.5 in the front, and 19X10.5 in the rear. Im kind of into the performance aspect of driving, so i do not want any rubbing or rim contact with the body or any other functioning aspect of the car. I am also looking to lower the ride height about .75-1 inch.
This is kind of related, but do any of you think that the volk SF-winnings with the cast inserts painted or powder coated black, and the outer piece left polished would look appealing on my black car?
Last question,
What tires would you recommend for this rim set up

Hey guys, got a lot of rubbing up front I'm trying to cure, looking for advice...
Here's the set up:
Springs: 350Z S-Techs
Rims: 19" OEM Rays
Tires: 245/35 front, 255/40 rear
Spacers: 20mm front, 25mm rear
But here's the funny thing, I have camber kits (front and rear). Front kit has the shims installed, so that's like a 5-10mm spacer right there. So my front's rub a lot. They look more flush than the rears, actually. Rears only rub on big turns or if I have passengers. Rear fenders are not rolled, btw. Prolly not goin to.
I'm probably gonna switch out my front spacers for 15mm or maybe even 10mm, but will that be enough alone? I need to get rear tires very soon. Will going back to 225/40 and 245/40 set up help at all? I like the look of the 245/255 set up, but I would prefer not to screw up my front fenders by rubbing on every decent dip.
I wanna figure this out soon before I order my rear tires whether I'm sticking with 245/255, or going back to 225/245. 225/255 is another option, but that would probably look a little off.
Thanks!

I had the same issue as you back then.
stick to your upgraded size cause thats not the problem. You need to run more negative camber or reduce your spacer size to 15mm
I had the same problem and lowered my 25mm spacer to 20mm. but the main cause of rubbing was I brought my camber from 1.8 to 1.4 -- didn't want to run so much camber for oem wheels.
I'd suggest to you is run more negative camber. Your camber is prob within oem spec which is causing you to rub also your struts are probably giving out as well.
get another alignment and test drive, after see if rubbing still occurs and adjust from there.

if your referring to Sen... remember he's a coupe not a 2gen sedan.
oem sizes are 225/40/19 245/40
and
upgrade sizes are 245/35 255/40

If you don't do your prep work and they start to chip and flake, you'll look like a ricer and people will point and laugh.
Hey guys,
Newbie here... I have an 04 coupe non-brembo and I need to get new tires so I figured I would get new wheels as well. I want to know what size wheel + tire can i get that will give me the best look i want the lip to stick out but I would rather avoid rolling. The car is at stock height.
Thanks for your advice.

245/35/19
275/35/19
no rolling with 22-25+ offsets
please do a mild drop.

depends on you really. an agressive drop would look best but, if mild is what you want then do it.
But if you want me to decide for you, go coils. that way if your not happy with mild you can always go lower

haha yea i was planning on getting them professionally done anyways thanks
After some searching (ttrank's massive sedan info post and others) I think I don't fully grasp the whole offset number correlation...
My question pertains to the fitment of the Tenzo Type M's. I have a 2006 6MT sedan and am generally wanting to do something like 19x8.5 in front and either 19x9.5-10 in the back. I know that the tenzos only come in 10 in the rear but I don't know if they'll fit. On websites like tirerack the biggest width I can seem to find that "fits" is 8in but I know it can go much further. The Tenzos are +45 offset in the front and +22 in the rear.
I don't mind rolling my fenders but I'd rather not have to deal with camber if I can help it.
