^ Yes they'll fit fine, probably need to roll your fenders as you said but otherwise they'll mount up with no problems.

Yeah you'll be fine with those specs. You may not even need a fender roll but you'll be able to tell once you get them mounted.

hi guy i new here a friend of mine told me bout this site and its great anyway i just bought r35 rim and i try to put them on my g35 but the front tires hit the upper control arm do i really need wheel spacer????

 

You'll need to get your fenders rolled and pulled, run stretched tires (225/35/19 and 245/35/19 should be good).
You'll also need a good drop and a decent amount of camber.

Check RoyalT's old DPE setup for reference. He drives a Z but it's close enough. He had the same specs and it looked great.

 

Yes you're going to need spacers. I'm guessing you have a coupe so you should look into 25mm spacers up front to match the rear fitment.

 

two questions -1. I have 07 g35 sport oem 18's, will aftermarket 19's work without rubbing? 2. if I have the oem 18's refinished, any estimate as to additional cost to have them chromed? any peeling concerns with chroming this? thanks

I am wanting to find out if 285/35/19 rear tires will cause my ABS/VDC/SLIP lights to go off with 245/35/19 fronts.

Current Setup
Front: 19x8.5 245/35/19 Falken FK452
Rear: 19x10 275/35/19 Falken FK452
Lowered ~1" all around

I am wanting more meat on the rear wheels so I want to move up a tire size to 285/35/19. My concern is the front vs. rear wheel "revolutions per mile" variance will go up from 3.1% to 4.2% by moving up to a larger rear tire.

I recall reading on the forums somewhere that the ABS/VDC/SLIP lights go off on a staggered setup that has a front vs. rear revs/mile that exceeds 5%.

Am I correct to say that I am safe to run this since the variance is 4.2% which is less than the 5% maximum variance?

NOTE: I will eventually upgrade the fronts to 255/35/19 when the current tires wear out.

 

Alrrite all you wheel pros, Im running 20x10 in the front and 20x11 in the rear. Im goiing to stretch on 225/35/20 and 255/35/20

which tires should i get!!! been reading but all the opinons are all over the place. I need to buy tires in the next week but dont no which ones. Im going to be running negative camber so wear is gonna be an issue, i want them to last atleast 2 seasons i guess.

Your best choice would be to go for 245/40/19 and 285/35/19. That will keep the variance at a mere 0.7% and will give the front and rear an even looking amount of tire.

If you're not willing to upgrade the fronts now then there isn't too much to worry about because the variance should be within 3% of stock sizes, and that really only relates to the rears (unless you drive an AWD). The rears are what feed info to the speedo and ECU in general so the front sizes don't really matter too much.

 

Tires are based on personal preference really but here are a couple good choices.

Falken FK-452 tires are quite popular around these forums but I've heard of bubbling issues when stretched.

Toyo T1R's are also good but I've heard of some noise issues.

I've heard really good things about Hankook Ventus V12s (Evo K110). They've been rated highly in all perspectives and are well priced. The only complaint I've heard of in that they have a soft sidewall but since you're stretching that's a good thing.

A very popular tire in the stretching world are General Exclaim UHPs. They are an ultra-high performance tire but they are also all season tires at the same time. This is good if you are planning on driving in the rain. They are also rated pretty highly in every department (in terms of wet/dry traction/handling, ride comfort, and noise levels) and are very well priced.
They are also rated 380 AA-A so they should last longer than most other tires, especially since you'll be running negative camber.

taking into consideration, tire wear, noise, comfert. Performance is basically the same i think and im not going to be tracking
